Thank you for another cozy, enjoyable visit with you, Abby Jo! It's raining and cold here today, too, and I also did some baking. It's so cozy. I'll be looking forward to the kitchen tour you mentioned. I'm interested in your stove and in your counter tops. I know granite and things are all the rage, but I don't like hard counters. I would like wood, but I've wondered about how well it would work out. I'm interested to hear you talk about them. Have a blessed weekend! And Happy Mother's Day! 💕🌸💮🌼🌷🌹

You are the first person to give me a response. I'm not sleeping well and I found you and the music your manners relax me. Now I've decided to not stress out over a cluttered tiny house. I'm 79 and have moved a lot also. I wanted a homestead, but that didn't happen. Everyday I try to go through boxes and it is hard to get rid of some items I've had for 60 years or belonged to my parents and grandparents. I too love to cook and decorate and paint. You are a regular now in my life and even at my age I can settle down. I appreciate what the Lord has blessed me with and my style is changing for a more calming atmosphere. I love the Lord, my children, grand daughter, great grandson and friends. And now I can include you. Have a blessed day every day. Carlene

We oil them weekly with mineral oil, I dont cut on them directly because I dont want knife marks on them. If there are ever marks or anything on them you can buff them out with steel wool #003. Its porridge season here so I need to make your muffins too. I ove that blue and white blouse, so pretty. I love ¾ sleeves too. Composting leaves, bare trees with moss are so pretty. Everything has its own beauty. Its a cool thundery week here and im just heading out to plant some yellow and green peas with my Little in what's just become her snack garden , a little cut off water tank that grew us 12.5 kg of sweet potatoes that we harvested a few days ago. I'm planting her chervil, perennial spinach, nasturtium, lettuce and shell plant those peas up a stick teepee . It should be very sweet . She can graze as she likes once it grows. I always enjoy watching you in your kitchen. Thank you for sharing such peaceful and beautiful content. Home is a lovely place 🤍 I do have a question about the cookware that you use. I’m wanting to upgrade mine one of these days. What brand is yours? Thanks! Take care 🙂

I'm going to do a kitchen tour and what I use in my kitchen video next week sometime and I will go over everthing I use :) It's a bit of everything, but I think you will enjoy it!

I love your kitchen you designed! When I first found your channel and didn't know your story, I thought how did she find such a cute, neat house?! (I'd been looking for houses to relocate to Ohio/Michigan from Oregon. Found nothing so perfect. Then found out YOU guys did that.) Anyway, did you go to culinary school? I did at the community college in Albany, OR. Your knife skills are excellent. Thanks for another great video.

Small world, I grew up in the country outskirts of Albany, OR. No, I haven't gone to culinary school. I'm a home cook :) Yes, we found a fixer upper and made it into our cozy cottage. Welcome to our channel.

Great vlog! Are you originally from Michigan? I'm in the lower peninsula. I love it here. Even the winters.

Love your videos! Do you ever find chaga on your birch trees? If so, you should harvest a little and dry it, then make chaga tea. I think it's more like coffee with a sort of vanilla twist. It's great medicine, too (adaptogen, immune booster, etc.). Your cinnamon rolls made my mouth water. God bless.

Thank you ❤️ I just had someone ask the same thing. I think we do have chaga, but now I’m going to look into it 😊

I’ve been trying to get in the habit of baking more yeast doughs. Did cinnamon rolls a few times, but I love the idea of adding maple syrup😍
