I remember this being on cable a few years ago. Saw the title and thought I’d give it a go. Turned to it just in time to see the two leads walking side by side, dressed in the 90’s. That shot was stretched way the hell out. Turned the channel and never thought twice about this. Until I see the Bad Movie Review on my favorite KZbin channel. Billy used to annoy me a bit (there was even times where Martin would shoot him a glare) but he is the PERFECT fit for these bad movie reviews. I feel like Billy would way over exaggerate the laughter in a lot of DT segments, but in the bad movie reviews the laughter is 100% warranted (due to the ridiculous nature of the movie) and just makes me laugh harder.

Funnily enough, if you research behind the scenes info on the film, you'll find that the films director has actually been a successful visual effects artist, and lighting technician for multiple decades. He's worked on some really shocking films in the past, including working with Mel Brooks on History of the world part 1, and Steven Spielberg's 1941. Just to name a few.

I never heard of this film till now. Before their roast I saw clips of it and was like "oh so its Jurassic Park meets Terminator, but its as laughably bad as Samurai Cop or Miami Connections lol. Oh this ought to be good 🤣 🤣". However, I can see why DT felt bad to pick on this film. As a film student you can see the effort to try and make something ambitious even with no budget. We can make fun of the corners cut and the obvious bad effects but again from a film student perspective you admire them working with what they had 🤷🏿‍♂ 😎.
