PRODUCED BY THE GREAT GEORGE MARTIN
@TheHumbuckerboy4 ай бұрын
@@Justicefordadmom 'Blow By Blow' was produced entirely by Sir George and he did a superb job IMO. He produced some of 'Wired' with Jan Hammer producing the rest of the album.

That alternate picking from Blackmore is that good, that the ears off Doug are tested trough the years in a huge way! The years he played with Dio proved that, great player, one of the very best! ♨️♨️♨️

Yes. 😅 'cause the "Sure Doug Aldrich Humbucker" was in my Ibby RG as i bought the guitar - the best i've got since 1978.

Cool video! Your tones are amazing and I loved the songs you chose. And you taught me how to play Led Boots. Respect. And Pat Travers is still a rock superstar.

Doug Aldrich flat out gets after it. Listen to Dio live circa 2002 and Whitesnake live circa 2006. His riffing and solos are face-melting. Great player!
@ArtVandalay4013 ай бұрын
Absolutely. Switching styles effortlessly between Blackmore, Iommi, Campbell and Goldy for "Holy Diver live" (Ronnie in fine form despite being unwell by Douggie's own admission) then Moody/Marsden, Sykes, Vai and Vandenberg in Whitesnake with his own touches in all was sensational. His playing on " Forevermore " was exactly what the band needed at the time with " Love Will Set You Free " a scorcher. Sadly, the same couldn't be said of dear old Cuv who, even then, looked and sounded like a combination between Dot Cotton and Zelda from Terrahawks.
