I bought this song when it came it and I played it non stop. The B side was also a class tune - Slick Rick la di-da-di, a song that has been sampled on so many hits since. You need to listen to it if you haven't already 👍

I won the 7" of this song after winning a 'breakdancing' competition back in the 80s. Played it to death.

Sweet! Yes we should do more of these gems, so much out there and so many requests we don’t always get to classic hip hop 👍🏻👍🏻 thanks for the sub and coming along for the ride!

The Original Beat Box is Buffy. One of The Fat Boys and their song to listen to is "Beat Box Is Rockin." It's not much lyrics but his form of beat boxing is insane!!! xoxo

The came out the same time. They were the only ones who could do it. I was more into Dougie.

What's up Brits. Brother from the hood, this song could start any party as teenagers in 80s. 🎯

Wow! Can’t believe I never saw that video before. The Show is a hip hop classic. Salt N Pepa made an answer to this called “Showstopper” in the beginning of their career. Doug E Fresh & Slick Rick’s biggest song together is La Di Da Di. ✌🏾

If you want to hear a human beat box you need to listen to the Fat Boys song "Human Beat Box" they were they were all over the R&B / Rap stations in the 80s and well known for beat boxing

omg please don't insult the legacy of Doug E Fresh by comparing him to Will Smith. Back then Smith's music was commercial- generic - and very Sears and Roebuck. White people liked his raps because they were very "Disney clean" - it's laughable now
@templestark477910 ай бұрын
Right? Many white ppl DIDN'T like him. His best song was "you saw my blinker bitch."
