It’s astonishing! I used to hate Hyundai and considered them to be subpar, bellow every other East Asian manufacturer. Three years ago I would never have even considered getting one. But they’ve completely redesigned all of their models, adding great features that are not so commonly found in other vehicles of the same caliber and I am absolutely ready to take back any prejudices that I had about Hyundai. They’ve done a stellar job remaking themselves and I would actually consider getting one the next time I’m looking for a car.
@stuff41153 жыл бұрын
I mean they are hiring designers that designed some good European cars, one of them is Sangyup lee (might have spelled that wrong). He designed the 5th gen Chevy Camaro, and the Bentley bentayga. He designed the genesis gv80 and that’s why the bentayga and gv80 look similar.

The two genius features (in my opinion) are: 1) the blind spot cameras that come on when you use the turn signals - because they will get folks to USE THEIR TURN SIGNALS, 2) the low mounted headlights, so they don't blind the drivers in front at night, like trucks and suv's do now because their headlights are mounted at the top, making them shine directly into the cabin of sedans. Great job, Hyundai!

Milan Sremcevic lol very true, and as an American who lives in a big city with street parking only I think a vehicle like this is absolutely gigantic. I couldn’t park something like this in my neighborhood, I’d have to move to the burbs just to have a place to stash it!
@merrelljohnson5 жыл бұрын
It really isn't as big as it looks on Camera. It's about the same size as a Honda Pilot, or Explorer.
@caglioso5 жыл бұрын
Merrell Johnson well to me at least, those vehicles are also gigantic. Of course I live in a dense area with small streets and no driveway, so it’s all relative.
@Vgp-rp4iu5 жыл бұрын
Nah this thing isn't that big. Easy enough to park in small downtown parking. We have a suburban also and that gets parked in street parking downtown daily. It can be done and isn't too bad.
@caglioso5 жыл бұрын
Juan Carlos Hermosillo I agree, and my point was that in America there’s also lots of dense city areas (like where I am) that make it very difficult to accommodate a vehicle of that size. America has lots of open spaces and suburban housing for sure, but plenty of us live in the dense, urban areas as well.

@zlamanit5 жыл бұрын
I think that the bad design remark was about the dial not stopping when it's in the first or in the last position. As for the ability to select the drive mode without looking - it's nice, but you have the current mode shown on the screen so it's not necessary.
@MMM180925 жыл бұрын

We just made a 5 hour drive to get our 2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited all-wheel-drive just as we would have ordered it, if it were possible. During my research over the past month or so, I have seen that the Limited Edition is in high demand. All wheel drive even more so. I have checked dealers from South Carolina all the way to Pennsylvania and found that they sell these vehicles, in the Limited trim, just as fast as they arrive on the lot. We were very fortunate to be able to snag one with all of our specifications. We just purchased the 2020 limited in All wheel Drive with graphite exterior and beige interior. Loaded with every option and then some dealer add-ons. If we would have missed this opportunity we were looking at up to a three month or more wait for the exact vehicle we wanted. In the time that we have owned ours, it has been as impressive as my 2018 Mercedes-Benz, which we purchased new! We were within hours of buying a brand new Audi Q7 Quattro, then we took a pause and looked at the Hyundai and for the money we are pleased with our purchase.

I wouldnt. While it is a nice vehicle in comfort and appearance, Hyundai engines are shit right now, and their paint is terrible. The dealerships are scrambling to fix rampant oil starvation problems in all of their models under warranty, and paint is pealing on thousands of Hyundais that are less than 4 years old. Its an epidemic. Of course, Hyundai wont tell you this until you go talk to an angry service tech. They sell you polished turds, and the shine wears off the minute the warranty expires and you have a seized up engine at 50k miles.
@Ssgt20125 жыл бұрын
Will Thornton yea true, the engine sucks, I am a Hyundai fan (I am Korean) but it is true, the 200hp gets worse fuel economy than a base 911 or any 400hp german engines. This is what Hyundai should work on. The engine is low quality.
