That's one thing that bugs the heck out of me with this 2.3 L 4-cylinder engine -- *SO MANY* car reviewers simply *IGNORE* the fact that it gets more horsepower and *much* more torque when you put 93-octane fuel in there. I currently drive a 2019 Ford Ranger, and had a 2015 Ford Mustang before that, and both of them are equipped with that 2.3 L turbo 4. 93-octane fuel makes a HUGE difference -- a *very* noticeable difference -- when I put 93 octane in there vs. 87 octane. I wish more car reviewers would note that difference, but they just don't.

I'd prefer cheap interior parts so when I destroy them off roading they are also cheap to replace. Your criticism of "rich" people getting on the bandwagon is on point though. Ford spent all the money on the features and less on the fit and finish, which makes complete sense to me. As always, love the video. Was really looking forward to this one. I'm torn between a lightning and a bronco right now. Can't wait to see your full lightning review!

Those "tie downs" are actually the Trail Sights. They line up with the front, center of each front tire. If you see the Trail Sight, you know exactly where your front tire is. That is critical in certain situations with a big hood like this. That came in VERY handy when going off road at the Bronco Off Roadeo. BTW, Doug, you should go to the one in Vegas if you REALY want to see what a Badlands with Sasquatch, like the one you reviewed here, is really designed to do.

I just wish the rear seats folded down into a flat floor. The way it is, it’s just bit more cargo than a hatchback, because it’s more square. Honestly don’t understand North America. Let’s kill station wagons and actual mini vans (Mini vans are not mini anymore) and make larger suvs with the same or less cargo capacity, that use more fuel. Then let’s put smaller displacement turbo charged engines in them to somewhat cut back on fuel because the vehicles heavy. This Bronco gets a pass tho cause it’s cool, an actual truck and off road capable.

Great job showing off the aesthetics. What nobody does is crawl under the 4x4 and answer these questions? 1) are these struts or shocks? 2) to go up a size of tire do you need to raise the vehicle? 3) if I do go up a size will my tires rub ? 4) is the 4x4 drivetrain for show or is it beefed up to take serious off road use? 5) and does the warranty cover off road use. I've been turned away from Ford dealerships when parts have worn not doing off road use for warranty repair. Left a bad taste in my mouth. 6) is the shocks proprietary for after marker shocks? 7) will someone please answer these questions? Jeep Rubicon answered all these questions.
