He did an amazing job portraying Nikki. No accent, and there were times I swore it WAS Nikki speaking. Think the scene where Vince had just gotten out of jail. He snorted what he thought was coke, threw up, and asked Nikki “what the hell was that?” Nikki: “That was smack”. That voice was perfect!

I am a huge crue fan. I think they nailed it. I watched the movie three times already. I laughed, smiled, cried and laughed again. I was at alpine valley for the dr feel good tour. Same old situation video was done there. Awesome concert. For sure the best. I seen most of the 80s bands in concert. Crue for sure best show. Great white was my favorite for just a pure rock blues concert.

Any mention of Doc McGhee and Matthew Trippe? I worked at the Sunset Strip Tattoo Studio when Doc brought Matthew in to get the Nikki Tattoos. Doc paid about $10 grand for the work and we spent about 2 weeks just to get the tattoos in the right places. We didn't know why we were doing this but $10 grand gets you privacy.

I had watched it yesterday and loved it. Douglas Booth really looks like Nikki from how I remembered him when I was a kid. I always had a childhood crush on both Nikki and Vince. I knew about some of the tragedies that happened with Vince that was mentioned in the movie. As well as hearing about Nikki going to the hospital because he had 'died'. But I never knew how he came back. I always thought he was in the hospital and not the ambulance (I'm not sure if that was just for the movie though). It's one of the best Netflix movies I've seen in a while.
