Games like Split Second, the Motorstorm games, the Stuntman games etc. Games like these are the perfect answer to the super serious sim racing games that have taken over the racing game genre these days.

This game definitely mix rally driving and gymkhana skill whatever vehicles they gave you, also Odd-Job, Stunt Arena, Rehearsal, is nice variety plus each director definitely gave you many experiences as stuntman in movies Also, Javi seems like went insane with those cutaway

The first Stuntman was made by the Driver devs and that's the really difficult one. This one's a bit more forgiving thankfully. Though frustrating, the first one gave me my money's worth in replays for sure as a kid. In this one you get 5 stars just as long as you keep the combo going the whole way even if you fail some stunts.

I wish this type of unique approach still existed. I started with Ignition. Never played the Driver games of this earlier period or the original but it's still really fun, challenging but fun and unique.

The Stuntman series needs a comeback. It’s the only driving game that my non car guy friends loved from the first second…this is what I love about driving games. It’s not about lap times, it’s about using your skills in another way that makes games like this feel much more accessible than even Forza Horizon or Need For Speed

i finished this game on PS2, i can't belive that this game got a PS2 Port, but it seem to have everything the PS3 port did, even an Editor for a custom arena, wich you could freely place ramps and other objects you unlock from the movies You need to Try out the First Part of Stuntman, its also pretty good, but not as effect heavy as Ignition

Alternative title: Dove stars in a Michael Bay film 😂 This was really fun to watch, I vaguely remember seeing this game in stores but never got to see game play of it. Quick FYI, but the Xbox 360 version of this game works on the Xbox One/Series systems, so if you've got one of those that would be the best way to play.

This was my first PS2 game. It's definitely a sharp learning curve - I remember some guy at the demo booth in Walmart trying to play it and completely missing the sign in the second level. Ignition has a lot more personality than the first game, but it lacks the ball-crushing difficulty. Probably why I beat it well before the first game, lol.

This game was release in '07 so it pre-dates the string of over the top F&F movies by 2 years, I think it is fair to argue that Vin Diesel stole his ideas for the movies from this game

I Absolutley LOVE this game! Ever sience i was a kid i played this game, and still to this day, it is my most favorite game of all time! I would really appreciate it if you would cover the other modes, and about that "Dark Souls of racing games" i would say that this game is a good bit easier than nioh comparatively, but it's predecessor is as difficult as Bloodborne, it was made by the same people behind Driver afterall...

The first Stuntman game is significantly harder than Ignition and it was made by the original Driver devs. I recommend checking it out, though the game has issues emulating.
