Late 90’s early 2000’s too, it was arrested 2010 maybe he started to lose his voice but he can still go when he is determined, if you watch he constantly checks his ear piece now when he wants to really nail a song

This song is so beautiful for so many reasons. Phil is referring to pot here and not making excuses for bad behavior, but owning it. When we embrace our darkness and can legit look our selves in the mirror and own it. Not be proud of it, but feel the shame and learn from it. Phil,Down are awesome have their first since it was new, have seen them twice and the Great Pantera only once so I did see Dimebag and Vinnie before they were gone. I never held anything against any of them for Pantera break up it just happens. I'm 63 and been a fan since these guys early days still love them. Bury me in Smoke was always my favorite but of course the whole album is killer 😆

As of now with the Pantera tribute, Phil sounds the best hes sounded in years. His voice is definitely way deeper now, but at least he can consistently stay in pitch and not sound out of breath like he has in the recent years.

Phil is a man of conviction and that should be really obvious. He may not make popular choices but he sticks by them and tries to be honest, and i personally give him a lot of credit especially in this age where a lot of people cant seem to accept others for who they are as much as they should.
