What a day this was. They played at 11 in the morning as a secret band, and I dragged everyone from out campsite to see them even though we were hungover to death and it was about 30 degrees out. Strapping Young Lad and Metallica that day too. Best weekend of my life.

Amen. I think it's cool that in the last 5 years he's done Super Joint, Down and "Pantera" shows with the illegals. In the last 2 years I've seen him with Down and The Illegals, and he sounds better than he has in a decade.

My first love, You give me peace, the warmth, And whatever I ask for As if you cannot say NO With lips seared dry By the burning of the suns In the fields and in your eyes. And now the sky encapsulates dusk’s Fine, ardent eyes, Like gulping flames To breath pleasure in the harmony Of their prayers; The yellows hearten In your tender embrace With which you dizzy me Rings out like a song. It brims full of love; My spirit, like the flower that has Inhaled all the morning’s nectar, And the bird with embers in the beak Carry to sound the echo, To my sung out soul; The trembling rhyme of your face, Yet I always snuff those embers With my tears. The blood is in my bones; Un-rescinded jubilancy In the arms of my lover’s desert That peels the scabs that weld To me like clams; My heart finds the sunlit crook Enfolding the lovelorn pearls of their smile In the wing of warmth. Plummet to your dark address And stay if you please As you will surely be gone When I leave, And haze my soul In shades of green When I drop the crystal sigh That shatters to live again, As you, me, and the devil makes three In the fireflies' gut. You always listen… always there with time... Your tears, your grief All the same mine... The only woman I know That gives me the strength, To plumb the deepest fathoms of my soul Where pain is brought to dust By the flesh’s murderous toll. Love! I am not well, but fine. Memories wrap around you, the figment, Like fingertips that draw out the Shape of your mammaries And let the milk that cripples Drip into my black well, To die a little more, reborn... Knowing the blood blooms clean. I am alone and decadent without you... My love, my trust! As I am the rock in which the world Breaks itself upon, And you; the water between its cracks Freezes to split its fortress To rook its heart. And when I smell that summer rain It reminds me of you... Despite all the good times In a November’s rust... So haunting, yet enlivening You keep me satisfied In the knowing of my flaws And you can take this away, My longing... My decaying bride, never disappointing…….. Sweet Mary Jane; Caress my mind’s eye to sleep Inside a mahogany dream Where serenity finds meat On the bones of melancholy To dissuade all is lost In the lingering doom crafted By oblivion’s great homicidal hands……..
