No kidding! I always just tied a series of loops in my line. I would just grab whatever loop would give me the length I needed when I raised it to some little stob at the top of my tripod. But THIS, THIS is Genius!

I watched this on Swedwoods and Nagualero, very handy trammel & also very lightweight and not to mention bankline is always something we all have. 👍👍👏

As a northern swede, this has been the way we (as a outdoors liking family) was taught. I've used it on weights up to around 6lbs (3kg) didn't know it'd be this strong thou! Great video as always

This has me thinking. Will this work for guy lines also I already use the marlin spike hitch on the tie outs on my tarp . And on one end of the ridge line .. sure beats pulling all the cord thru .. by the way. ,,, thanks for this simple trick for a bush pot

Saw this on Self Reliance Outfitters! Jamie Burleigh was demonstrating it (great Burleigh Balm, by the way).

The idea is a very good idea and have been using it for years and the place that you mite have seen it is climber bush craft but not sure but still very good idea it is so nice to know that we can all learn something new from other people I have a question for you but it concerns percussion revolvers but that is for another time

Great tip,, will this work using paracord instead,,??

i think it will

Hmmm, you can of course do that ‘horizontally’ so to speak, for any application,,,, ridge lines (with tiny stick if for a tarp) clotheslines.... anything that doesn’t go slack, I reckon as tension keeps it tight....

There are NO MINOR KUKURI INJURIES...I remember this from Blackies' days gone by...I lately got a new Kukuri and just barely nicked my thumb and it took a LOOOOOONG WHIIIIILE for me to stop the bleeding. I love my EGKH knives, no exceptions! The newest Angola Afgan versions are WAY beyond the original Nepals. the scabbards and belt loops actually Work! They are not doggie chews. Go look. Not what they were :) No, I do not work for them :)

Can you re-shoot this video and release it again with brightly colored para cord?

This is like the old time "Red's Rings", without the rings. It is the same concept. Check out David Pearson (ReallyBigMonkey1)

I seen that on a KZbin video reallybigmonkey1 a couple of years ago. You should check out his channel. Keep up the good work.
