Mike. I look forward to your videos. This place is wow. When we lived in Seattle we had good friends who had a brother who was a Ferry Captain. We drove to Anacortes and took his ferry thru the San Juan Islands eventually reaching Sidney, BC. What a spectacular trip. We used to go clam digging and also Geoduck - we always called them gooey-ducks. What memories. Your wonderful spirit and lust for life gives me such a boost and helps keep me young on the inside.

Awesome. The area is also full of artists and artisans whose studios and gift shops are open to the public. The door handles and towel hangers you pointed out are made at a local foundary you can visit. Lots to explore in the area and lots of recreational opportunities including a great zipline in the forest canopy. Too bad you couldn't explore longer and showcase more.

Hello Mike..... Thank You so much for doing a video showcasing my NEW HOME 😂🤣😂 I wish!!! What an AMAZING tree house! All the work that went into that house...... mind blown here!!! While not overlooking a valley or slow moving relaxing river the scenery really isn’t bad, it’s what an “ OWL “ would see .... And being safe up in the canopy of the trees is where any owl would want to hangout, watching the world around him/her teaching the young owls to fly.... and the “ Pot Holes “ along with a beach area... how cool was that?!!! The Owls Perch.... Another home run out of the park Mike, Great Job!!!! Congratulations again on 100,000 subscribers, that should be celebrated!!! I don’t know where your going next, but I know I’ll be there with you!!!! Ps ... Wow, gorgeous treehouse. These hosts made this treehouse high end. How cool to be in the canopy of the trees. Loved those Sooke Potholes; looked 'refreshing!' I want to visit BC. I heard it is beautiful; your videos highlight that. I think there is plenty of touring you can do in Canada! Canada is beautiful; as long as your government doesn't ruin it with oil drilling and over logging. Congratulations on hitting 100K subscribers! You are already at 113K today! You put out quality videos and content; I think you will keep climbing in subscribers; especially, when this pandemic is under control. I am hearing that may not be until well into next year, though. As anticipated, the Owl's Perch Treehouse is a complete contrast to the first you showed. In fact, this place looks like a combo between the first treehouse with all the comfort and great furnishings/finish of the Alpaca Cottage. The Potholes reminds me of Blue Pool in East Gippsland downunder, only longer and with deeper channels. Congrats. on the 113K mark. Your weekly posts are certainly uplifting for us poor sods down here with the second wave of COVID, 459 cases overnight, with 10 new deaths and some locals being just plain stupid and defying authorities. I used to envy people who lived near a forest; now I live in a forested area and I envy people who live near rocks and rivers, lol! But you're so right, exploring one's local area is so worth it! This week I went on a cycle ride out of the forest and into the polders around the old Dutch fishing town of Spakenburg. I saw amazing new views both in the forest and in the open country, I had fried fish for lunch and I even saw an old lady in traditional dress! Highly recommended for anyone in the area :)
