I think with My Chem, it's the same as Busted. The majority of their fan base are in their mid to late 20s and early 30s now (me included) so more likely to come to the festival and they would definitely kill it!

Absolutely. The kids who were into them 15-20 years ago are now 30-40 odd years old, and slap bang on for Download Festival's modern demographic /Dews

Haven’t done a Download in years but fancy it as a change for next years festival run. As someone who did Download 13, 14, 16 and 17, it’s safe to say I’m pulling for Rammstein, Slipknot, System. Even 1 of 3 I’d be happy.

I heard a rumour they dont want to play download again, and tbh they have not done any festival's last few tours. I love the way they say Rammstein instantly, but have they thought about their stage show its bigger than the main stage

I think too much emphasis is placed on the headliner. I went this year and didn’t see one main stage headliner and still had a great time.

i saw Nickelback open for bon jovi early 2000 when they only had 1 song and were great so cant see why they wouldn't put on a great show now. although id rather SOAD, Shinedown and aerosmith/gnr line up

Rumour is Copping wanted Ghost to headline next year but couldn't get them, so they are headline level at least. Sleep Token need to headline next year. Not big on them but if Download wants to capitalise on their success it's next year or nothing imo. Nickelback would go down great. Everyone "hates" them but really though they don't. Sleep Token/MCR/Nickelback would be my pick.

Tbh I can see Headliners being this already. Sabaton, Volbeat instantly they got new albums and well over due headline spots. coming 3rd is tough u could go for Gojira, Within Temptation, Judas Priest, Devin Townsend

System is very unlikely seeing as since Moscow, Russia 2017 they havent done any european shows. They been sticking to US shows i been hearing Serj does not want tour at moment as well

Another year and no doubt it will be yet another line up of shouty,teen Metal lite,faux pop/punk,long forgotten nu metal/emo/goth acts with 95% of the bands playing being a million miles from what qualifys as Rock/Metal.Its a joke and has been for many a year.

Sleep Token are absolute crap. However,, I really like Nickleback, they might by cringe but they are the kings of butt rock.
