Yes we definitely have a smaller downtown - growing up in Edmonton it’s never been the go to place like other bigger cities. There’s a lot more there now then there used to be but definitely small.

So is this a downtown video or not? I'm confused. More time is spent talking about other neighbourhoods than downtown. Anyways, a few inaccuracies that should be cleared up. There's no market on 105 Street. I think you may be referring to the Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market that used to be on 104 Street but moved about to 97 Street four years ago. Last summer a new market started up on 104 Street called AL Fresco. Not sure what photo you are using because none of the markets look like that. Lastly, there are other post-secondary institutions downtown that contribute to a large student population. -- University of Alberta Faculty of Extension and Norquest College. Downtown is an amazing community and one of the most neighbourly places to live. Walkability and lifestyle a plus over suburbs. It's not for everyone and I think that these sorts of videos are most useful when they focus on what type of person might be like living downtown.
