John & Nathan, You are amazing! The Pyzel foil is excellent. Probably made special for you. Your athletic ability is extraordinary. Turtle 🐢 Bay was really windy the week we were there. We seemed to end up in Hale’iwa almost every day. Go North Shore Squad & Team Florence! Be safe. Be well. 🌺🤙🏽🌊💃🏻

This is so awesome Tried to get down winding going here on the east coast but the talent pool is shallow. We did an eight mile trip two OR canoe and myself on SUP. Super intense. Definitely not for the faint hearted.

for less talented people, or not as comfortable with the ocean and being miles out (not sure if that's comfort or crazy).. isn't this where an e-foil with the retractable blade a good option so you can restart and then shut the power off? seems like the perfect combo.

So whats good with the new board design? the new foil boards look longer almost paddle board like does that make it so if you fall you can paddle and get going again?
@LiftFoils6 ай бұрын
Longer boards will give you greater inertia on the up pump and and sustain movement. Think bombers over fighter jets. If you want carve and control you want a smaller board in surf. But the bigger ones will give you greater efficiency. Which in deep waters and out from land you'll want to get you home. Plus the addition of stability and platform. Bottom line, use case and preference. It's all about how you want to feel the flight and the environment you're in

SICK! For someone looking to get into foiling, where the best place to start?
@LiftFoils6 ай бұрын
Depends on where you live and your water conditions. Wing or wake or going to be the most accessible and give you a good start. Got some stories and guides on our site too liftfoils.com/stories/foil-surfing-techniques-a-quick-learning-guide

@@LiftFoils I'm either in Bali or in Gambia but really looking to get into something that will be challenging when conditions aren't great. Gambia is pretty flat and often onshore, so not sure if foiling would work? Thanks for the resources though, will keep an eye out!
