PLEASE, send an email to Doxa asking them where they parts are manufactured. They won't be able to answer that because they are made in China and assembled in Switzerland. There a couple of people out there that challenged them...I love Doxa's design but they need to be transparent and adapt their pricing to the quality of their parts

We know where the parts are made. The whole “Swiss made” title is a joke and has been for a while. Doxa aren’t the only brand with parts made in the Far East. Much much larger brands are doing the same thing!

Love the 300 especially the Army but you should really watch The Watch Guys review. He’s got quite the collection of limited editions but also reveals some alarming details. “Doxa is not a watch manufacturer “ according to the company. Scroll through to 17:30 for the tasty stuff. 👍

They have components made by a third party. Not unusual in the Swiss watch industry now and has been happening since the dawn of the watch industry. Very few truly in-house watch makers.

@@vmv2000 Honestly, near every single watch brand uses components in their watches, from jewels to screws to muck more significant components. Some of the most loved watches have a lot of Chinese-made parts. I'd spill the beans, but I'd been scared of being blasted off into space or thrown into the sea.

I have a aquamarine 300T and the finish of it is superb, and compares to any Swiss "made"watch in the sub £2k price point. As for being made in China, I think there is a misconception that its all cheap sh*t, but I think they will make products to each customers specifications. Yes they will do bottom end, but if you are prepared to pay for It they will do top end as well...

@@BarkandJack it becomes boiled down to our prejudices- does “Chinese “ parts equal sub-par. Ie if a Swiss brand is making a million watches a year and they use Chinese parts to increase their profits but consumer can’t see difference in quality what is the detriment? Suppose what we really want is transparency, but that’s not gonna happen
