Hi Dave! I wanted to bring it up to you about 3 different times where they tried to reboot a classic show that I remember as a kid. That show was Greatest American Hero and then in 1986 the original cast appeared on the season pilot of the show called Greatest American Heroin where Ralph has to pass his suit from the aliens onto someone else because he became too famous to wear it any longer. Ralph finds a female to wear the suit and Robert Culp would work as the FBI agent with the new super hero. I only found one episode on Tubi. Then when I went to look up information on the show more than one show popped up. In 2007 they tried to reboot Greatest American Hero and it did not last as long as the original show. Plus, in 2017 they tried to reboot the 1986 TV show Greatest American Heroin. It also flopped.

You cannot compare Norman Fell's 'Mr. Roper', and Don Knott's 'Mr. Ferley' characters. Both characters were uniquely and brilliantly played by the actors, giving both characters a separate life, and a charm that only those two actors could.

Mr. Furley (Don) was more into makin’ those wobbly-necked, googley eyed 😳 faces and being a mix of clueless Chrissie and physical comedian Jack. We didn’t need more of the same thing in a new character. So, what was enjoyed about the Ropers is their characters were “normal” people - they were down to earth to offset the roommates’ goofiness and the scenarios they’d find themselves in - Mr. Ropers was representing us interacting with Jack, Chrissie, and Janet in that way. Because of course we’d be shaking our head at them and making fun of them etc..

The show was t really that great. I had tired of jack tripper, Chrissy's absence ruined the show, and don Knott's did not belong on that show! Hollywood politics was at work. John Ritter the son of tex Ritter many of the old Hollywood establishment either friends or fans of tex Ritter were determined to turn his boy into a star. John Ritter was a good actor but a terrible comedic actor. We're I in charge no way he would have got that part. Suzanne Somers would have gotten her raise and the Ropers never would have left. Don Knott's would have continued making features, and Jack's character really would have been gay. Plus there's be more hispanis,Asians, and Blacks in the series. What planet does this L.A. exist on where there are only white people exist in it?????? It was a terrible series!!!!!;;;

Norman Fell carved his character out of stone perfectly as "Stanley Roper." I totally respected his not wanting to do that spinoff, citing that "Three's Company" was good work, spin-offs didn't always work, and until "Three's Company" began, he hadn't a lot of long run successfully acting jobs that worked. Take nothing away from Don Knotts, a "6x Best Supporting Actor In A Situation Comedy Winner," but Norman Fell was a consummate professional during his tenure on that show, and should have had full run on it.

Roman's 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles (MOST modern day Europeans/Caucasians/ etc) be come in. (Yes there are some black “dark skinned” gentile people as well but the main gentiles ruling this world behind the scenes are in fact “white” gentiles. Gentiles are known for being practitioners of lawlessness although not ALL gentiles are lawless but rather Most as a whole. Part of the blindness is that we would not know who the true Father of Jacob(Israel) was and that we would worship false gods of [wood and stone] partially referring to worship of the cross(wood) and the “idol” of christianity the “jesus” that hangs on the cross tends to be made of (stone). Worship not literally meaning to bow down and speaking in gibberish nonsense tongue waving hands up and down, but rather worshiping meaning “To Submit To/Obey”. The speaking in tongue that some Christians do is nonsense, speaking in tongue only refers to the ability of being able to speak in a language or many languages to spread your message across multiple nations. Smh Deuteronomy 28:36 TMH shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. Deuteronomy 28:64 And TMH shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. Just as important as "what's his name," is "what is not his name." However, it is 100% certain that his name was not Esus Crios aka “Jesus Christ”, the idol of the Celtics who the Catholics sing at Easter in the Vatican, aka what all surface level “Holy Bible” readers (Commonly identifies as “Christians”) refer to the Anointed One as. We have been tricked, deceived as a result of the curses of the law (Deut 28-64)...wake up and stop following the lies of the Gentiles that govern this world. True Israel is awakening. I am no historian but I love researching and proving all truth. It was the so-called "Holy" Roman Catholic Church that banned us from reading certain books. Do not trust the Adversary's agents of deceit and destruction. The Catholic Church is not a good moral compass. Catholic meaning Universal. They literally crusaded all over the world, had TMH’s people murdered, burned women alive, and made laws against poor people (peasants) from having translated Bibles and books of education in the past. Who are they to condemn a book for any of us to read? They are certainly in no position to order us and they are most certainly NOT our Creator nor the Savior. Do not trust those who come in sheep's clothing but are rather ravaging wolves. It has been told of us to be as harmless as doves AND as wise as serpents. For one to be wise, You must research and READ, and educate yourself, AND prove ALL TRUTH. The only one to lead you is The Most High. Pray for insight but don't trust when LIARS tell you NOT to read something but approve of what you “Should”! It is good that we pray for you, and I do hope you pray for me as well. However, the decision is ours as to whether or not we fully submit to his will. The Most High wants us to submit to his will through our own decisions. That is why the Messiah says if any man comes to me, let him deny HIMSELF. That is why the word also says to be transformed by the renewing of OUR minds. That’s why it says every man will have to give an account for what he hath done. It is personal accountability and the sooner we accept this, the closer we will become to actually making the decisions that will make us submit fully to his will And for those of you who deny the existence of The Most High or don’t take the ancient scriptures seriously, you need to seriously wake up. Biblical prophecy is literally unfolding right before our eyes. This is not a game. A few notable mentions: Women wearing makeup should repent and change no debate, people who smoke weed (sorcery) should repent and change no debate, people who eat upon the flesh of animals… should reconsider. Everything is going according to prophecy, even ‘they’ have to move accordingly.. Go and sin no more and put in work for the kingdom. He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. We’re living in end times yall. APTTMH! Visit Ahayah-Truth. Co m

Joyce Dewitt has to be my pick for favorite female roommate for Three's Company. She's the most level-headed one of the bunch! Priscilla Barnes would be my second choice for favorite roommate. She's much more practical than either Jenilee Harrison, or Suzanne Somers. As for favorite Landlord, Don Knotts gets my vote. He's so garish and overdone, yet with his own lovable, but misguided spiel on things (Such as how to woo a lady)! He's my choice. Norman Fell was very good...but Don Knotts was better. His goofiness and garishness made him a One-Of-A-Kind Landlord, that Norman Fell's "Mr. Roper" couldn't quite match. Mrs. Roper (Audra Lindley) was the poor overlooked, under-appreciated, under-loved, and stressed out Housewife, and as for that part of their love life, I blame Mr. Roper completely! We've got, therefore, one Landlord that doesn't appreciate what he has in a wife, and another Landlord that's desperately seeking out a lady to be his wife! Mr. Ralph Furley had something going for himself... didn't he?!? Anyway, I digress. Have a great day, and remember:Three is company, too!

Norman Fell was one of our Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival celebrities. My father had the pleasure of interviewing him for our local radio station WINC in Winchester, Virginia. We have a picture from that interview.

Priscilla Barnes was a great addition. Suzanne will always be the original and best blonde roommate but when Jennilee replaced her, it was the same joke of her clumsiness every episode and that ran it's course pretty quick. The show was rejuvenated with the smart blonde nurse(Terri). Also a shout out to Richard Kline. Larry was a very funny character on the show.

The 2 things nobody *ever* addressed on that show was *what* on Earth did Larry do for a living and how was he able to effortlessly keep paying his rent every month and never having the delimmas they were all having w/3 ppl sharing the responsibilities. Oh and one more: So he didn't mind 2 women sharing an apt who could've been DL lesbians BUT he had a whole problem with the idea of a straight man possibly getting some action..bcus he was not⁉️👈🏾💁🏽‍♀️I never understood that angle

I remember at one point on Tuesday nights on ABC was Happy Days at 8pm EST, Laverne & Shirley at 8:30, Three’s Company at 9:00 and Bosom Buddies at 9:30 (with Tom Hanks). I made sure my homework was completed so I could watch this without incident from Mom. Great times indeed

You forgot to mention that John Ritter was the son of famous singer, Country Western Music hall of famer and Western movie actor, Tex Ritter. Between Norman Fell and Don Knotts... I would have to go with Fell. He was a truly great actor with a lot of depth and range. His sardonic wit and impeccable comic timing were just some of the many arrows in his acting quiver. Knotts always seemed to me, to be more a clown for children, making stunned faces for the camera as his punchline.

I agree with jenilee harrison when she mentioned once in a interview that Three's Company was a prelude to shows like Seinfield. I loved the show when I was a kid. And to answer the question I think Mr. Rooper was funny but no one can beat Don Knotts. His on screen chemistry with John Ritter was a match made in heaven!

Love this show and the spin offs. Especially The Ropers! Don Knotts was and is a legend and did amazing in Three’s Company, but Stanley was perfect for that role. But if he’s gonna be replaced, no one better than Don Knotts!

One of my all time favorite shows! So hard to compare these characters when they were all great. Furley was hilarious and we got so much more of him over time, but Roper was untouchable! He brought a genius to those early episodes that I laugh out loud to myself just thinking of. The Ropers should of succeeded. That was sad. Three's a Crowd just wasn't written funny. Even as great as John Ritter was he could not save it. RIP all that are gone and hope to have a drink with everyone of them down at the Regal Beagle someday!
