I came to the comments section looking for this exact comment. Another reason why I can't stand to read Reddit after any new content comes out. The sentiment that any and all content that could possibly help a solo can also be used to help 6 mans or zergs. Any time you have a second player like a duo, all progress is doubled. I think this is a huge win for solo and duo players as big teams will still just use ribs and boats as it's faster. I'm liking all the new content coming out. Can't wait to ride a bicycle around trolling players before I kill them like in PUBG. Hope we can do backflips on the bikes.

That would be cool but it's be inconvenient. Gotta charge the battery, carry it with you and it runs out, you cant really recharge it (in the middle of the ocean). Low grade is just infinite times more convenient.

That DPV is so cool never thought of this. They just need to add beach caves, a mix of T1/2/3 caves with 3 being only accessible from underwater and maybe have to kill a shark to enter. Just a thought, dont punch my face.

@@JDjigs pets are already programmed into the game. they added them a couple years ago during the halloween event. you could take zombie parts and put it on a table and make a frankenstein. but he had paw prints next to his healthbar. and you have to hold P to access his control wheel. i would really like it if they made skillsets in the game, and you get to pick one for each wipe. itd be very similar to how world of warcraft works. there could be generic armor and weapons in the game anyone can find, buy, or craft. but make people pick a skillset. so they either have to become a gunsmith, tailor, gatherer, farmer, electrician, modifier or a hunter. you can only pick one and have to pay 1000 scrap to change. gunsmith - can craft military grade weapons, all weapons cost to be crafted will be reduced by 25% tailor - can craft military grade armor ( new tier of armor), backpacks, beds, medkits. cost to be crafted will be reduced by 25% gatherer - all farmed items (sulfur, stone, metal, wood, barrels, berries, food) all have a increased gather rate of 20% (can stack teas with base 20%) farmer - ability to re pot a plant to a different location, all plants grown consume 50% less water, all plants grow 25% faster, 25% increase on yields mechanic - ability to modify weapons & vehicles. (can craft weapon attachments, car parts, offroad tires, high grade fuel, can also craft car frames and mini helicopters) hunter - reduced noise from footsteps, no weapon sway when scoped, can tame pets to be used in combat. (bears, boars, wolves) electrician - only one who can craft electrical and industrial components, electrical wires, and pipes distance increased by 2.5x.. obviously you can change these things up, but something like this would change rust so much. it would make people really fine tune their playstyles. i think it would make people not so quick to find enemies, but allies.. because you would need certain people to accomplish certain things you want done. it would give roleplayers the ability to have an actual role in the game. it would require people making deals and trades with eachother and make people just work together way more and i think itd be just what rust needs.

I actually had a rage session in the ocean yesterday. Took me about 10 minutes to get up on a trash pile so I could heal. They really need to add climbing ropes on the side of them or something that's the most annoying thing in the game.

Creative mode is huge!! I love the idea and hope the implementation is smooth! All I can think after seeing the travelling merchant vehicle is hearing Shadow's voice coming from it, but saying the Resident Evil 4 Merchant's lines.....

Well, it does give solo players a chance against duo or trio players. If you cuff 2 of them and they can help the other one, its a win win. People abuse F1 kill and respawn in pvp a bit to much. But they also have to change it then, that a downed player cant f1 itself or people will just macro it to mouse.

Im confused on how the nexus system will work. What is stopping players from booting up their private servers where they have admin priv, giving themselves an ak kit on wipe (or an invo of rockets) and going to any other server?

I believe (but I may not have the details exactly correct) that the nexus system will only function between servers that agree to link with each other. So scenarios like yours are theoretically possible, but only if the receiving server agrees to it.
