Except facts outweigh any 1 person's opinion. And the FACT is, a non-OPT "draw 1 card" effect (that isn't too difficult to trigger) is GREAT, even in today's meta. Fuck the Mechcarrier search; we have stuff for that already. Now, all of a sudden, Fairy Alphan and Terraforming are a 2-card combo leading to a 6-mat Great Magnus AND a +4 simultaneously. That's pretty bonkers these days.

@@alexYu-gi-oh Not sure why you re using zoo in the argument here. Plenty of archetype got nice supports that could be see as broken and yet they can't even compete with the meta. I meant that the link itself doesn't solve the major issue being getting more quantum on field after its summoned so that the deck can immediatly go into magnus. The draw effect is ok, yes. but you can only keep going after getting a quantum on field and that s after you summoned a monster that does nothing before you actually do something And assuming you even get a quantum on field, the next draw doesn't garantee you can go on. That s a lot to ask for a link 3. Its sad that we could have gotten a better effect than the protection and that other one that summon something after your opponent kills one of your quantum At this point, even a simple summon from hand would have been better Calling it garbage is wrong yes. But after seeing the T.G link (who s broken and yet T.G can't even top in ocg) its normal to expect something that at least does more.

The deck still has to run engines with a lot of garnets and rely on the field spell to make explosive plays,not to mention the fear of handtraps. This card doesn't free the deck from such burdens. Link-3 is already another burden.

Except you do need more copies because the field spell doesnt protect itself or float. Quant HAS to go first to be relevant and if it goes second (which will happen more often than not) your field spell is never staying on the field. It will get negated or twistered or whatever and thus you will need more copies since this deck is literally unplayable without the field spell and everyone knows that. What are you going to do against a board of 2 negates?

So? that is why you play 3blue layer,and 2 terraforming on top of 3 copys of the field spell, and then you can still use teleporter to summon blue layer from deck thats 9chances for the field spell and we haven t even talked about Fairy Alpha yet wich is another 3 cards that can result in the field spell being added to hand so thats technically 12cards out of 40card deck that is instant acess to the field spell that is almost half your deck,add to that the fact that you still draw 5cards for first turn,and its rather easy to float the field to get out the link+1xyz wich is a instant draw,and you almost garantied to have atleast 1 field spell in hand during turn 1. 4. What are you going to do against a board of 2 negates? Depends on the hand really and what? you going to negate and what kind? of negator is used. lets say for exampel: i discard white layer,for one for one,you negate,so now i can use white layer to add Alpha directly to hand instead of summoing it with one for one, now i specal summon red-layer, wich do allow me to add back white layer to hand,you negate, so red layer uses his GY-effect to summon White-layer to the field, at this point i m free to summon preda-plant scorpion and start the predaplant engine that allow me to add brillant fusion to hand, now i already have 3 monsters on board(predaplants+white layer) now i can either xyz summon into grampulse or use all 3 of them for the Link monster,but in this scenario i go for the link monster,so now i have 3 zones its pointing too, now i can use brillant fusion to mill another white layer,and a gem-knight garnet, and now i can summon seraphinte into the zone of Magna,then normal summon green Layer,who specal summons fairy alpha,wich use his first effect to adjust the level of seraphnite to the level of green-layer so theiy both lv4, now i use his tribut effect to,choose,blue-layer,green layer,white layer, you randomly pick Blue-layer,i summon it,use its effect to add the field spell, now i use both green layer on field and seraphnite to xyz into Aeroboros,draw 1 card via Magna(link monster) effect,use field spell to discard the drawn card,target blue layer,and xyz Grampulse, now i draw another card, its soul charge,wich allows me to summon 2 white layers,now i can xyz summon into lusterex, and draw another card wich is the field spell again, now i can attack over both your cyber infinitys,and still direct attack for 2500damage at the very least, and during your turn i have a mst,book of moon,Free-Monster effect negate,and protection for all of them,while also in the event that theiy do be destroyed,i can float a Monster from deck for sheningangs. and in the event i survive the turn,wich is likely to happen,i still have the field spell and cards on board,to summon Magnus with 4+Material. so yea its possible to play around 2 negates, it just really depends on the starting hand,and Both Players abilitys to Play theiy decks. So don t count this deck out just cause it did not get the support "you thought" was needed.

Its a really solid link monster for the deck, getting an extra draw after discarding for carrier is fucking amazing, and combing that with white layer searching alphan so you dont need to use blue to search for him does so much for the deck

I'm waiting for these to begin creating weapon monsters like Zexal weapons. If it follows the Sentai rules, there will be power up weapons and armor. Or even some kind of Mask Change card for them to conjure fusion monsters or magic cards that allow them to XYZ summon into further armored warriors like Rank Up magic cards.

Just saying, some way to protect magnet carrier would be nice too since you know it's pretty essential and terraforming, metaverse and blue layer are all things that search magnetcarrier already(yes i get that metaverse is a trap but it's still applicable). Maybe something like that trap elementsabers got? (Oh and if we are asking, maybe some more ways to search to monster line up/ some form of level manipulation so you can summon the xyz's with more then one material [not sure how necessary that last one is, if at all, but it still sounds nice in my opinion])

I actually just played against this card and the deck it is so good it fought my meta deck into a stand still.(with like two great Magnus that has basically unlimited materials due to the trap, which the opponent didn't use for it's protection effect) . It is also my opinion but I say these support makes the archetype hella good.honestly it's effects are garbage and is good enough for what I saw my opponent was able to do.

I dunno...It provides you with a +1 every time you xyz summon one in there (no opt) AND unlike alot of archetypes that rely on their field card (uhum looking at you ABC and even true draco) that have been alot more succesfull in the past this one has already 3 ways to find it's field card (terraforming, Blue layer, Alphan strike) I think it's gonna be fine if this boss monster doesn't have acces to the field card.

A non-once per turn draw effect? It still doesn't justify being a Link-3 with specific Link materials that doesn't at least search the most pivotal spell card in the archetype. I'd have preferred that than a multi-draw effect, because if you're drawing cards in Super Quant, you want to see Magnacarrier first. Why would you rather draw a couple of cards when you can get the _best_ card guaranteed immediately and for free? Sure, you can argue you _might_ draw into Terraforming or Magnacarrier, but are we about taking risks?

All those people saying that the draw effect is good because it's not "once per turn"... well you forgetting that you have to special summon "Super Quant" xyz monsters with DIFFERENT NAMES to draw a card that it might not even help you. And compare with other draw effects that doesn't have that much restriction, this is garbage. And yes, you can use the field spell to xyz summon easier but you also forgetting that you still need to "discard 1 card" and then have another monster to be used as xyz material, and then have another monster that's a DIFFERENT ATTRIBUTE from the last one to be able to xyz summon again with a DIFFERENT NAME if you want that second draw that badly... since it's not a "once per turn" >.>

Well I dunno drawing up to 4+ cards in a single turn at the severe cost of playing your deck the way it's meant to be played doesn't sound too bad. Especially because you can summon the green red and blue xyz, draw 3, great magnus, draw a 4th, summon two more of the others now that the three you had before are gone and attached to magnus, draw 2 more. So you just drew 6 cards just for playing super quants and you wanna tell me that's not strong?

Especially since Super Quant is an xyz focused deck. You're not going out of your way to summon the mechs. That's the goal. And on average this will trigger around twice in a turn. So that's essentially a pot of greed every turn just for doing what your archetype is focused on. Pot of greed is banned btw.

The only reason this card has the draw effect is because of the field spell anyways. People used to tech volcanic scattershot just so the field spell wouldnt minus them. This card seems like it was meant to replace the need for thw scatter shot. Still requires a lot of set up.

If legacy support doesnt improve the deck to at least rogue status it is a waste of space in the set that could have been used on actual good card potentially. This card doesnt do anything assuming you are actually playing against other people. The fabled "draw 3 cards and summon magnus" these comments keep talking about requires you to summon SIX monsters in Quant. This deck had a hard enough time summoning Magnus (3 monsters) before links. This and white layer dont change that you NEED brilliant fusion to be relevant which means your deck is LITERALLY like 30% brick. You only want to draw 1 predaplant or brilliant fusion and NEVER see the rest or either garnet for the engine while simultaneously only drawing ONE copy of the field spell.z
