It searches Odd-Eyes Arc, which is pretty awesome. Unfortunately this is OCG only and Arc is TCG only atm, but together they make Sky Iris sooo much better as an engine. Also, the synergy with Supreme Starving Venom is pretty ridiculous. Get a powerful beater that can reset the opp's board and GY for just any 2 DARK Pendulums...GODDAYUM!

I've remembered this video for the longest time. I recently got back into Yugioh through Master Duel and this exact combo with Revolution Dragon and Starving Venom has won me games thru ranked. Albeit Gold rank right now, but I've turned entire board around where the opponent was completely STACKED with a bunch of high atk monsters. I would do the bounce effect with Starving venom and then attack with 6800, by the time they had anything to counter, I was already leaps and bounds ahead with some recovery (Arc Pendulum Dragon+ Sky iris) and negates (Solemn Strike) so they would either do almost nothing or surrender. You can Special Summon a Synchro monster with a LOT of cards like Odd-Eyes Synchro or a fusion Monster with Dissolver or Odd-Eyes Fusion, then Pop it with Sky Iris... like a supreme king monster.. don't use Xyz monsters tho... you kinda cannot use its effects since you don't have any Materials... then search Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon (I love this name... so Cool...) use it as a Pendulum Scale.. and then BAM you've got yourself a Monster from the Extra Deck in the main monster zone and maybe you can even make 2 monsters from the extra deck in 1 turn ... IT'S PRETTY COOL FOR ME !!!

VAD Montblanc Because it turned out to be easier to stop than it was worth. Everyone is playing hand-traps now, and the combo is basically guaranteed to fail if you go second. It only works against non-meta decks, and wastes a lot of resources if you mess up. Tyrant Neptune and Instant Fusion didn't waste as many cards, and was stronger.

Odd Eyes Arc dragon is busted, Odd Eyes fusion can summon any dragon fusion monster easier than Eye of Timaeus can, its searchable by sky iris... Odd eyes dragons are of course dragons, DMG the dragon knight requires DMG and a Dragon, Timestar searches any dark spellcaster to your hand. The synergy is RIDICULOUS

Not how it works. The Magicians only have their names changed, not their types. Odd-eyes, Starving Venom, Clear Wing and Dark Rebellion all have "Pendulum Dragon," "Fusion Dragon," "Synchro Dragon," and "Xyz Dragon" in their names, respectively. That's the part that the Magicians copy. Think of it like this: Double Iris Magician basically has his name treated as "Double Iris Magician Pendulum Dragon." The Magicians are always spellcaster-type Pendulum monsters, though. Z-arc requires monsters that are Xyz, Fusion, Synchro and Pendulum, but also dragon-type. The Magicians aren't dragon-type, nor are they Xyz, Synchro or Fusion monsters, so they don't match Z-arc's materials. The only reason you can summon Z-arc with them is because Astrograph and Chronograph Sorcerer have effects that can fusion summon Z-arc without his regular materials.

lightswornjoker no, it needs three dragons, one fusion, one synchro, and one xyz, not a "fusion/synchro/xyz dragon" monster. Quotes means card name, no quotes means a monster of that card type.

Magicians aren't treated as names, they're treated as types as well, as you can use them to summon ZARC who requires types not names.

Tbf, you summon zarc with astrograph effect and his effect use "dragon synchro" quoted names to fusion summon zarc, you cant poly the four magicians into zarc

Etheris no they aren't. And normally you can't use them for z-arc. The only way you're allowed to use them for him is using Astro/chronograph sorcerer's effect, which banish a "pendulum dragon," "fusion dragon," "synchro dragon," and "xyz dragon" monster from your hand, field, or grave to fusion summon z-arc. Read the dang cards.

I guess it's an interesting revive and shuffle card that isn't a brick because it can be discarded for a search. The deck's pretty meh now with Master Rule 4, but this card isn't too bad.
