Good detailed explanation of the key components in the box, I was struggling with keeping H pattern gearbox’s in one piece on my focus Rs racecar so Iv just not long finished doing a dq250 conversion in my car as it fit the bill, reliable, fast, cheap. Into the final mapping steps soon but initially it’s going very well!

Is there any mileage in a video on diesel gearboxes for big power 1.8Ts? Are they a good idea? Their pluses and minuses. Which codes to go for etc.

I’m running a diesel box in mine now. Only reason for it is if you want/need longer gears. The basic gearbox is the same
