Corey, In my 44 years of detailing, you could imagine I used it all on windows. No shame in my game, 44-45 years ago this stuff did not exist. Thanks for the video! Tried it out today but I think I made a mistake by doing it while it were 7°C (44,6°F) outside. I have heavy high spots that were not removable by the MF towel at all (even with heavy wiping). Was this due to the temperature or could I made a different mistake?

Hi Jonathan, it generally flashes MUCH slower in cold temperatures (we recommend applying at 50F or over) but still possible. BUT sounds like you just missed certain spots. Either didnt wipe them off or used a towel for too long that had become saturated. Proper lighting and inspection while wiping may be the issue. You want to remove those high spots right away!! Do not let them cure any longer as they can become very difficult and eventually impossible for a DIY to remove safely. Watch my video on removing high spots and get to it asap and it should still be easy. Hopefully it is just a few isolated spots.

Thats a really great question John. I have to say I failed in testing and showing that on this video but from everything I have seen so far, no issues. I always worry that on a car that has really minimal tension and only one tension point that it is possible with certain types of rubber but have not heard anyone with the issue yet with GForce. Remind me again in 3 months and I will update!

Great question, I have not heard of a need to do so but we always recommend to hit the wipers with Reload to assist,.

Another good video :) You mention Carpro reset for washing. How important is it to use Reset for every wash? Is it ok to use other soaps for regular maintnance washes? Also thinking for the coating on the paint. I use Reload on my car 3-4 times a year so how important is Reset in this case?

Great question! Some soaps like Ultima Paint Guard Wash and CARPRO Reset are optimal but in a pinch you can use others no problem. As long as it contains no abrasives then a typical soap will not damage the ceramic coating. It can however clog it up a bit over time with waxes and gloss enhancers stuff. The good news is that if you wash with Reset again it will "RESET" the coating by removing the stuff that other soaps leave behind.

No, that is plastic film and this is designed for glass so I wouldn't recommend.

Would Carpro Reflect work well for polishing the glass prior to applying Geforce?

Any of their talcum grit micro compounds would be appropriate for glass polishing. (Essence, Ultra, Reflect, Clearcut). Just as long as you're not using hard grit long buff compounds. I use Lake Country Orange pads with Essence to light compound and follow-up with a black foam pad and Essence again to refine. That combo makes for a very nice finish if you're not working with an abused paint. I polish my glass with essence and an orange foam pad also.

Hi Plex, yes, Reflect will work perfectly. The reason I go straight to a heavy paint compound for the glass is because there is no downside to it if it works as easily as Ultracut. So if someone is doing it by hand or has lots of mineral spots on the glass this will cut them off faster than reflect. If the glass is already in good clean shape without sap and minerals, etc then Reflect is fine. But to simplifiy the video I just used Ultracut so I didn't have to get into those details for purpose of GForce.

Why on the CarPro KZbin channel do they not recommend a final wipe? On their how-to video they just apply and leave it, you came back and did a final wipe.

A difference in application. CARPRO does it that way but we found that the final wipe yielded less risk of high spots and did not impact performance. We found it more beneficial for an easy application so we recommend it to our customers. We do tons of testing so the information that we share is always our experiences with using the products to what we find works the best!

Yes, you can. We expect that GForce will last longer on glass but using DQUARTZ on glass is perfectly ok to do.

Ceriglass should NOT be used unless you are trying to remove scratches form the glass. Instead simply use Ultracut or Clearcut for a quick polish. In this order. 1. - Wash 2. - Polish with Ultracut or CLearcut 3. - panel wipe with Eraser 4. - Coat with GForce

In my case I would like to remove minor scuff marks so maybe I'll need ceriglass but first I'll use ultracut. Can I skip the iron remover deco then?

@@giacomo6281 If ceriglass is needed then there is no need for Ultracut. No, you do not need the IronX on the glass if you are using ceriglass. If you think you have a bunch of brake dust on your windshield then it wont hurt though.
