Hey there G, I thought I'd stop in and say hey. Nice trimmer. I think the trimmer is a great investment for those having to trim along a fence line and along ditch edges. Enjoyed a full-watch. Have a fine week, my friend. If we don't chat between now and then, have a great Christmas and stay safe. BTW, did you ever send all your puppies to new homes? Bye for now. 👍🏽🙂

Hey buddy! Thanks for stopping by! Still not back to normal but getting my medications dialed in. It does seem to be going in the right direction according to my lab work. Puppies all have the same home.... mine! I think thats what gave me the brain tumor! Definitely what takes up most of my free time. At least I always have a reason to get out of the house. The wife will start taking about feelings and I can glance out the window and say one of the dogs are tearing up something and run out. Hope you have a great Christmas! Hows your rehab going?

@@ODLife Rehab here is coming along fine. 4 more weeks of therapy and I think I'll get a green light to do things I would like to do. I'm just following doctor's orders to the T. Be well, my friend. 🙂

Glad to hear life is normalizing a bit more for you, G. Hope you're getting better and better. Thank you for the thoughts on this. Been looking at purchasing the DR. 3pt trimmer for next summer. I have one of their 3 wheel trimmers now. Your thoughts please on a few unique uses I have. Not really a fence issue here..... I have about forty 25 foot pine trees, and hate trimming around them with a weed eater - takes hours and hours. Do you think this would get under the low hanging branches and trim without damaging the limbs? How about just trimming around the pole barn, house, etc. I see the guard on it, would it work buzzing around the brick on the sides of the house, and on the wood T111 siding without chewing that wood up? I know it can use the spring, but wanted to make sure the guard would keep it off my barn. How about on a fence railing lying on the ground around my 350 foot berm? Around big decorative rocks? Appreciate any feedback - everyone talks about doing fence lines but not on other applications for this trimmer.

Just got mine. I’m wondering if you have a slip clutch in place for this. I don’t think it’s necessary but after 5 years I figured you’d know better.

Good question. I don't run one, agree you shouldn't need one, it has the belt that I think would slip. Granted, with that said, when my belt broke, it got tangled up and locked up and stalled my tractor. So food for thought. 🤔

No offense but it looks like a waste of time and money.
