What a great interview! It was a privilege to hear this pioneering physician speak about her beautiful new book, "Undaunted Hope." Dr. Claudia Black's first book, "It Will Never Happen To Me," was the instrument that got me help. I had grown up with two alcoholic parents, and my life was one crazy event full of sorrow and abuse. I truly did not believe that anyone else was like me, and reading that first book gave me hope. I will forever be grateful for everything her work has meant to me. Also, I have her new edition of that first book, which has lots of extras in it. If you think there is no help for you, I urge you to pick up her books and get the help you need. She helped me in my 20s so I could lead a normal and active life and not repeat the cycle that three generations before me did.
