This is wonderful. Having healed from MS diagnosis with MRI in 1995 using diet and exercise I read a lot on this topic, and appreciate Dr. Katz has much to offer to this discussion.

Katz is a genius. Speaks in perfect sentences to boot.

Nice interview Dr. Marbas! I loved his response to the Annals of Internal Medicine systematic review. It seemed the report on red and processed meat was just a rehash of their "butter is back" report so they could get publicity. I choose a plant-based only lifestyle because of the known science, but I do have clients that will never give up certain animal foods. People need to be happy and enjoy life, and as long as they understand the health benefits and importance of being as close to plant-based as possible, they seem to respond positively to changes in their diet. Thanks for all your do! Paul Webster

Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn's study is comparable to the Lyon outcome?...in what universe?

Dr. Katz somewhat lost me at the eating fish & oil part (and birds a couple times a year), but thoroughly lost me on the cheese consumption as he didn't want to offend his wife - really?? Maybe he needs to re-read "The China Study" by Dr. T. Colin Campbell or the more recent work by Dr. Neil Barnard, "The Cheese Trap". I like Dr. Katz but I am more in line with Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Brooke Goldner, Dr. Klapper, Dr. John McDougall, & Dr. Alan Goldhamer.
