Good to know most are benign. My daughter is getting scans tomorrow due to thigh tumor. They are getting her seen within one week from xray. Glad ortho-oncology is so proactive even if alarming.

Hello Dr my name is Maria I need to ask you about a a aneurysmal bone cyst that my 11 yr old son developed on his lefthand palm had a biopsy done and ce back been a cyst first before the biopsy was done they said it was cancer and after biopsy it was a cyst but. Now that they removed it dr says it looks like cancer can biopsy be wrong I need your help thank you I'm a desperate mother

Unfortunately biopsy can be wrong if living tissue isn’t collected properly during the process
