It was kept in Antarctica with the chair platform (until it was moved to Area 51 in the final year of the show, probably after Daniel's trip to Atlantis) but was never actually used (beyond maybe running power for the outpost day to day). The one time they were going to use it was the ZPM Hive but it was destroyed by the Kamikaze darts before it could actually be used. And because Earth still doesn't have a beam engine inside Cheyenne Mountain (for some insane reason, despite the fact we've made at least two more since the death of the Asgard for the Sun Tzu and Hammond, meaning we can make them ourselves on Earth) they would have to chopper it from the outpost back to McMurdo, load it onto a cargo plane (which may or may not be present at the time depending on weather and time of the year), fly it back to a mainland (most likely Australia or New Zealand) then onto another plane to fly it back up to the USA and then yet another plane from there to Colorado Springs. A round trip for that ZPM would be like a week to power a five minute intergalactic wormhole. At which point, you've only shaved a tiny bit of time off the journey for Daniel. And the Daedalus still has to make the full trip anyway because it's carrying all the supplies for Atlantis. But, yeah. That ZPM would have been far more useful being installed aboard the Daedalus itself. Would reduce transit time between galaxies dramatically (even if they ran at a lower power draw to make it a full week instead of the full-speed four days). And would have greatly bolstered the Daedalus shields against both Wraith and Replicator fire during the ongoing wars. Versus maybe providing power to the Outpost for the researchers to find out a whole lot of nada compared to the data that Atlantis is sending back every single week.

@@danielk5780 ​ Only if they have one of the 304s in orbit. Despite us manufacturing the hardware for all the 304s ourselves on Earth, we do not have a beam engine anywhere on Earth. If you watch every time they ever use the beam on Earth it is being operated from an orbiting ship. Several times it would be extremely useful to have a beam on Earth when the ships are out in the black to quickly move SGC personnel to another part of the planet, but they never do. Unless one of the ships just happens to be in orbit. They could put one in the SGC and instantly lower their running costs by making it a butt load easier to get material in and out of the base. Especially between the SGC and Area 51. Not to mention getting materials in or out of the Outpost all the way down in Antarctica. More secure too as you can't intercept or pull over a beam. Or, if security of such a system is a worry, install it at Area 51 and operate it from there where it is secure from anyone inside the mountain from messing with it in a foothold or invasion scenario. But, yeah, Earth doesn't have an active beam system unless a 304 is in orbit. So unless one of the ships was there when they wanted to move the ZPM, they'd need to use the standard chain of planes from Outpost to Mountain and back again. And hope we don't need to use the Chair in the days it takes to ship it out and back. And, as we build all the parts of the 304s locally, we build the 304 naquadah reactors here, which has got to be more than enough stable power to run the outpost (or at least the chair) without wasting a ZPM to run that place. So it's doubly silly wasting that ZPM on the outpost.

There are a lot of us who are fans of SG, but sadly, for whatever reason our support was still not enough. @@lazy_riveN The viewership is the only thing that counted, and it was clear it wasn't there. It was absolutely a "masterpiece" that sadly no one watched, for whatever reason. I doubt we'll ever really know what happened, at least anytime soon. My thinking at the time there must have been more going on as surely SyFy must have acquired the rights to air for pennies on the dollar. Who knows? The only thing that's not conjecture here is that we have no quality SG at the moment.

This is an oct 25th 2019 post on their site & this content will be here on 31.12.19. (See the link on the info section of the page). its pretty hard to continue the show? sg1 and and sga was long cancelled(10+years ago) and the actors have moved on, and got much older so it would be wierd to continue sga. Same goes for sgu(8+years), the same thing happened, they moved onto other things and their physical appearance changed drastically. We can try to look at Discovery for example, cbs remade star trek, just so they can drive subscribers to thier streaming service, the show itself isnt canon at all. Maybe if a network will pick it up and make it as bad as discovery maybe people will come back.

the space suites came from the destiny era of the alteran ppl. but it was weird seeing them in the episode when the Asgard wearing them in sga. only these suites seemed to be a bit more advanced to fit the Asgard body type and add strength. but how did these Asgard obtain these alteran space suites in the first place? i know they were resourceful within their own advancements and tech, but these space suites were clearly alteran. but they seemed to be isolated from the other Asgard, when they didn't know about how the others essentially killed themselves. the Asgard in the Pegasus galaxy didn't really seem to flinch at their own race taking mass genocide as a protection so other races could not obtain their tech except for the ppl of earth. i just found this interesting.
