Fascinating! I wonder if the reason we feel better, those that hit deep ketosis, can be related to our stem cell health improving?

This was interesting, but there is another method of introducing stem cells in the body that requires no external introduction. I have been carnivore for a little over nineteen months and the healing I have had seems to be unbelievable, including healing a serious heart issue. I believe that the release of stem cells by this method has had an important part of this healing. A fast of seventy hours starts releasing stem cells from the bone marrow through autophagy and I regularly fast that long and longer, my longest being twenty one days. Due to my carnivore diet making me fat adapted, I find extended fasting to be relatively easy. I recently did five days and am forty hours into my next one as I write this.

Tell more about where you have heard this about the carnivore diet can do this. I've been carnivore also and have never heard of this effect and heard no one talk about it ever, I fast 3 ,5 ,7 days

@@christaft3506 Do a search on fasting and stem cell production and you will find links to animal studies from some prestigious institutions. It has been a while and I don't remember the exact sources about the effect in humans. However I am seventy four and before starting carnivore with fasting I had serious health issues including stage three kidney disease and a severe hardening of the left ventricle of my heart. The left ventricle was not pumping efficiently and was out of rhythm with the rest of my heart. In February, after a couple of months of extended fasting I was told my left ventricle was normal and my flow rate was normal. This was a miracle to me as heart disease has been a killer in the male member of my father's family for generations. My younger brother and I have lived beyond the normal span for than side of the family, but he has already had a triple bypass. My arteries test clear, I had a CIMT in January and no blockage was found in my carotid arteries and my last calcium score was zero.

Okay I did a bit of research and if you do a search on You Tube for autophagy and stem cells there are a number of videos on this subject. The information about the seventy two hours is pretty consistent.

This is all fine and good, but the question is, will insurance pay for it? HMO or PPO?

Nope insurance won’t cover stem cell therapy. I’m headed to Merida Mexico in January for stem cell treatment. Went this past January and my husband (52yo) had stem cell injection in his left knee for meniscus tear. It was about $2300 + MRI $300 USD. He’s completely healed and now doing sprints. He says it’s as if he has a brand new knee. This upcoming trip I’m having targeted stem cell in both feet and also stem cell IV therapy and cost is $5200 USD.
