Dr. John, "When the Saints Go Marching In"

The good doctor grooves a lot here, and plays a beautiful solo. He said that this is how they played this in New Orleans Spiritual Churches (probably the best advertisement for Christian churches ever given from somebody who's into voodoo).

The recording is from Dr. John's 2 DVD set 'Dr. John teaches New Orleans piano' (Homespun Tapes). If you dig his piano styles, this is IMO the best place to go, both in terms of the performances and the teaching. The other instructional videos and booklets he did aren't quite as good.
