Dr. Martens 1460 GAUCHO Crazy Horse - After one year of use

Love the worn look on these boots specifically. I had the glossy black leather Chelsea’s and wore them 5 days a week for about a year behind a busy bar and they are still looking good. Yea a few cracks but that’s what gives them character 😅😅

This worn look comes when I coat the leather with Pate de Luxe Saphir Beaute du Cuir wax, it has its own charm but gives a more used feel to the boots.Especially with Crazy Horse leather.The remnants of wax are visible on the seam, i.e. the connection of two leathers of the shoe.

i got a pair of 1460 crazy horse recently and i was able to break into them on my second wear. i love the rustic look of these boots 😁

In fact, these shoes are as comfortable as sports shoes, but they look much better :). A lot of satisfaction with wearing these boots.

i'm not a DM user actually until i saw this 1460 crazy horse type.. the best leather experience for me.. I rub some balsam twice a week to make it softer and softer..

Great looking DM’s these are exactly what I’m looking for. Could you possibly share the item number or the number on the inside of tongue? DM website is a bit confusing and second hand sellers images of a “brown” DM boot looks more of a “pascal” DM thanks and great video

Shoe number ist 44, is that what you meant?

@@Caesarsboots there are numbers on the inside of the tongue. The sizes, and product number. Some say 1460 and others say 1182200 or 1182203. When looking at them on the website there is a slight difference in the leather’s. Shoe laces are different and maybe the stitch on the upper leather. That’s why I was asking about the numbers. Do you clean them regularly? if so what do you use?

I am using wet baby wipes for cleaning

I don't clean them very often because I impregnated them with shoe cream.

Are these the dark brown or regular brown, do you know?

The boots are regular brown but I coat the leather with pate de luxe saphir beaute du cuir wax, so that they have such a look.

I am an engineer and I am working on underground construction sites and this shoe model is not suitable for construction work. Shoes on the construction site must meet at least the S3 standard in Europe.
