I hope he listens to Jordan Peterson, who he claims to really admire and had on recently. Peterson was rightly pointing out that a real narcissist would never be rounding up a dream team of super high profile famous and infamous people. That all star team Trump picked of Tulsi Gabard, Elon Musk, RFK and other brilliant people would never be chosen, if Trump needed all the limelight for himself all the time. Bill, I'm getting more and more shocked at how much you don't know. I had a very small bathroom remodeled but the city needs a diagram of every room even though it was only one small bathroom involved. It also means visits before and after for everything involved Plus it cost big bucks. I'm in a closed community not seen from the street YET the city needed to visit before and after I had new windows installed to legitimize the permits, another cost. Friends are building a home in Glendora and so far paid 80K in permits plus the city requires THEIR people to build their yard the way they want it to look. More costs less freedom.
@christinehoff59103 ай бұрын
Nah. I remodeled a whole condo and never pulled a permit. My neighbors and contractors were cool with it. Not sure what your point is. He's merely bitching about doing things above board and the bureaucratic red tape.
@stan54093 ай бұрын
@@christinehoff5910 selling a condo you remodeled without permits can be complicated: Disclosure: You're legally required to disclose any unpermitted work to potential buyers. If you don't, you could face legal action from the buyer. Price: You might need to offer a lower price to attract buyers who are willing to take on the risks. Buyer interest: Buyers may be hesitant to purchase a property with unpermitted work, which could limit the number of interested buyers. Financing: Many lenders are reluctant to finance homes with unpermitted work. Safety: Unpermitted work may not meet local building codes, which could pose a safety risk to the occupants. Insurance: Insurance companies may refuse coverage if they deem the property unsafe. If you do plan to sell your condo with unpermitted work, you can get quotes from contractors to estimate the cost of redoing the work with permits. This can help you determine a reasonable price to offer to buyers.
