Ted is the bomb. I like what he teaches even though I'm strict carnivore. It will help people. Especially older folks that need more protien... If they will listen and put down the cookies and candy and pick up a steak.

hello storm.i run into u a lot.i agree..I don't like fatty ribeyes, all the fat and, salt makes me loose gut,and I got loose skin even though I didn't do fasting and carnivore for weight loss.imbjyst still trying to get it right.ted seems to go with simply any cut steak and eggs is 50/50,perfect fat and protein. You can handle fatty carnivore and salt.

Thanks for solidifying the "not having tempting things" in the house. Foods I know are my "trigger foods", meaning that I will definitely overeat, I don't bring into the house. If I do, I put them into a place which is not very easy to get to. For example, peanut butter is a "trigger food" for me. If I am not careful, I can polish off an entire container. I put it somewhere where I have to work for getting and eating it.

@@davidrodgers4760 Chicken tenderloins are a big staple for me, for lunch. They cook up easy and can be eaten anywhere. Other than that, depending on my mood and day, for my dinners are chicken breasts, chicken thighs, steaks, or pork loin chops. On Fridays, I try to eat a fish of some kind. On Saturday and Sundays, I eat mostly burgers (85% lean or higher) with a slice of cheese.

Ted is fixated with U-shaped curves. 😂 That being said, great content from the good doctor as usual.

cooking for yourself is great advice. You don't know what is in the restaurant foods. Do they use trans fats corn oil soybean oil etc. don't eat anything deep fried. order steak and steamed veggies.

Robert sikes keto bodybuilder said that he raises fat during the shred period and get down protein because of neoglucogenesis… so I don’t know what to think for an body athlete. Thanks for sharing man ! David from FRANCE

i don’t know if i agree with this protein leverage theory about satiety and satiation. I love to prioritize protein, and i always find to feel better with an higher amount of protein; actually i’m around 40 to 50% of the calorie coming from protein. But still… does it makes me feel satiate? No! cause i’m in a calorie deficit, and i’m more lean right now than my genetics wants my body to be… so i think that is what drives hungry and satiation primarily! 😉

Agree! Higher protein doesn't always equate more satiety

That’s why you shouldn’t be in a too low body fat percentage than your body genetics allows you to. I can easily gain weight and it’s kinda difficult to me to drop it. I tried cutting to a single digit bf% and I was literally starving all day no matter what i eat. No I’m sitting at 14-16% and i look and feel absolutely good. It’s really about your body type.
