Yes, he is right. I am living in France and what I have noticed they are much far away from sugar. The breads are mostly without sugar and even though they worked out on daily basis. Their normal children run 4 to 5 KM daily, so that's why they are fit.

They also don't over eat and rarely snack in between meals. This combined with few highly processed food consumption (KFC, McDonald's etc) and excercise ensures they aren't overweight. Humaray log to dushman hai anaaj ke. Jahan ek do roti kaafi hai hum teen chaar kha jaatay hain aur phir na warzish aur uper se heavy chai aur dessert. Agar mota nahin hona iss routine se to aur kiya! You are absolutely right. When I was in Pakistan my insulin fasting was 26 ml even though i mostly avoided eating breads and carbs there, but its been 1.5 year since I got moved to Germany, I eat bread bread daily and sometimes croissant aswell with coffee. I had an insulin test recently and i got shocked aftering seing my result.There is a significant reduction in my insulin levels they are down to 20 from 26 ml even with consuming lots of carbs on daily basis, It all depends how pure the quality of food is we are eating.

Dear, here in France, things are fortified as well like milk, they add vit D in milk and mostly food belong to D or E group. But thats true, they use natural fats more in pure form and they walk more than our pakistanis
