I don’t have any video of the construction but will find as many photos as I can and will show you the tools I used to build it. I copied the design of the seat in my wagon.

Great looking cart! What is the width between the shafts at the narrowest point?
@yellowdogfarm4 жыл бұрын
Hi Amy. The narrowest point is at the tips-30 inches. They are 40 inches wide at the singletree. They start angling in about 1 foot forward of the singletree. They are removable, although I have never taken them off. My biggest mistake the first time around was not making the cart wide enough so that the horse can bend their body when turning.

Where did the wheels come from?

What was the final width of the finished cart, suitable for trails?
@yellowdogfarm5 жыл бұрын
The axle width is just slightly smaller than my wagon. The thing I appreciate the most is it has a very smooth ride.

@@yellowdogfarm I'm trying to get an idea of the size to build a cart for trails . You already worked out the bugs so I'm looking to learn from you :)

Love your cart

@@DianeStPeter Nice! The shafts can be removed so I can easily transport it. I would say that I haven't seen "trail" carts. I'm having a blast with this one. I do find that I normally use my wagon and have passengers.

Your seat sits too far back. Your seat should be centered over the axle. The majority of the seat is behind the axle. You want it centered over the axle for better balance.

We actually started there and ended up moving the seat back for better balance
