I just received the Renntech tune, was 123 install and done. unreal, It now has the same power as my old v8 Toyota Sequoia. Charges right up steep hills (countryside roads w steep hills).

I can't wait. Mine is a 2017 25004x4 cargo van. I just put on a set of Revel Method takeoffs and put bfg 275 70 17 it looks wicked cool, the tech tune will be next level. I think I need one of those bumpers next! -O'Brien

John, what are the differences between Renntech and DTE Power Control? I’m curious on the reasons why you prefer Rentech over DTE Power Control. Thanks in advance for your insight.

They are totally different. The Renntech is actually adding more HP while the pedal control is simply making the engine more responsive. We sell an updated pedal control and the Renntech and use that both in concert.

If using mid city engineering remote start you must disconnect mid city before using renntech. Ask me how I know. Lol

Ton Tonn if you have remote start hooked up it interrupts the programming and leaves the truck unable to start. Unhook remote start before programming and it goes well

Wish I read this comment. Literally a 40 min phone call with Renntech to fix the exact same problem. Supposedly their newest firmware fixes this issue as of 2021. The DTE PowerControlX feels better for less money.
