Would like to add a tune to the 2023 2.0 litre diesel. Wonder how challenging that will be given its current output. (alot of cylinder pressure in that tiny 2.0 already. The EGTs in that motor must be pretty high already. Hope more power can be found without too much modification. Although, I'm not afraid of deleting. Water methanol injection has been a big help in some other motors I have tweeked for significant power gains. Maybe that will be need here for EGT suppression. Without a regearing option for the AWD, I have been hesitant to add the taller heavier tires I would like. Not enough motor and gear at highway speeds as it is with the 245 70 17 KO2. Maybe a large enough bump in torque to the tires can be found to make a change to a larger tire more seamless.

Currently we are working on developing a tune for the 2.0 engine but we don’t have one as of yet. Hopefully within the coming months we will have something that we can start testing with and have it available for customers before too long. We have run water methanol on the 3.0L though with good results.

How does this tune differ from others that DON'T require ECU removal? This seems pretty easy. I'm just looking to learn.

The main advantage of the tune we install compared to others we have driven that are on the market now is the performance at elevation. This of course has nothing to do with needing the remove the ECU, just a function of how the tune is designed.

It does meet California smog standards (we just had one pass a couple weeks ago to confirm).

If anyone does anything like this to any of their cars, don’t post it on the Internet. Don’t let anyone know where you got it from. Don’t do any of that because if it’s in America and someone writes you out to the government they’re going to go for your truck and they’re going to give you a big ass fine and you’re going to have to revert the stock system or crush your car
