Good video Kris, you know I have used the Spin N Glo from my salmon days in Washington for cats and bass. I'm going to try the demon out I like the rattle plus it will hold the larger plastics off the bottom on the Carolina Rigs with the slinky weights you make. Good stuff my man.

It's cool to see how one product or item can be utilized outside the box for other neat applications. They're essentially top water lures without the hooks on them right? That's so creative! Next we need to see a clear capsule type version to insert a whisker stick! Lol. Light and rattle attractants that's teamwork! Great video Kris always soothing to watch some one else fishing when you're not able to

my question is, how much does the color of a rattle actually factor in on how you catch? I think i'm gonna do little research on this and do a video about what I find out... maybe like a summer season of fishing both from my pontoon and from the bank. Whats your thoughts about the color of the rattle?
@TheMDOutdoors20167 жыл бұрын
Awesome video and beautiful fish I love those demon dragons. I have great video on how to properly rig one up the rig helped catfishbill 66 catch his pb on flathead which is 36lb 3oz. You have to check it out as always happy fishing and tight lines.
@DieterMelhorn7 жыл бұрын
Have you fished the Demon Dragon enough to get a good feel for them? I just put up a video on them, but I only had two to experiment with and both ended up broke off in brush piles! I am getting more of them for a more extensive side-by-side test with traditional corks. I would love to hear your opinion and take on them. THEY MAKE A LOT OF NOISE!!
@muddyrivercatfishing7 жыл бұрын
There's been some discussion about this on Facebook recently. The one factor that some catfish anglers tend to overlook is vibration. People forget about the lateral line that catfish use to sense vibration in the water. Some may argue that the Demon Dragon will not make noise being pulled behind a boat, but it doesn't take much to make it rattle. And keep in mind that it is connected to a weight that is constantly being dragged across the bottom. Any little bump will cause the demon dragon to rattle. Another thing to keep in mind is that when a catfish strikes at the bait, it will cause the Demon Dragon to rattle, this puts out vibrations that simulate (In my opinion) an injured or excited baitfish, thus triggering a reaction strike. I'm quite pleased with the product and will continue to use it.

hey kris, kerry in abilene tx here.... have you ever used the high - low rig ? its a double hook rig with 2 baits, very close to a crappie rig but for cats. if so did you like it and if not can you please do a vid on it ? id go fishing with you any time !
@theCalsfv7 жыл бұрын
hey kerry the high low rig is an excellent rig to search for active catfish while targeting them on the bottom and higher off the bottom. Ive been working on a video for it but fishing has been tough. TIGHT LINES
@bigcountry50457 жыл бұрын
thanks
@muddyrivercatfishing7 жыл бұрын
The high low rig is a good rig, just be careful fishing it in areas with heavy cover. The second hook can snag easily when reeling in a fish and can cause you to lose it.
@bigcountry50457 жыл бұрын
ill keep that in mind

Any states allow more than two poles at a time? Just curios
@andyattitude20007 жыл бұрын
A lot of states allow more rods. For example, in Kentucky you are allowed all you can tote plus two. That means that you can use all you want too.
@michaelmarkus45547 жыл бұрын
sicboy83 i live in indiana and we can have 3 rods per person. I know Minnesota u can only have 1 per person now that would suck. Washington u can have as many as u want.
@sicboy837 жыл бұрын
Michael Markus thanks for the info. One rod would suck.

So Missouri is 3 unlabeled rods BUT up to 33 labeled hooks. So basically i can write my name on up to 33 rods and fish em all.
