Have been listening to these great old radio dragnets. Love them. BUT sick of those damn cigarettes ads👹 Wonder how many died of cancer ! Smoking these damn things👹 l know the time these programs we're played we didn't know how bad smoking was for us. I don't/ never have smoked but like so many have lose love ones to smoking👹 NBC pushed their poison to much per program! ( Long cigarette, It WISE to smoke futema👹)

I know! It's hard when I'm trying to take my mind off it (trying to quit) and hear these looong cigarettes commercials. Like this episode has a plot twist. I thought they owed the money protection $ and he was the collector.

Just wondering how the script would go if Friday and Romero could respond to 21st century non-smokers: Romero: “Okay, but how do ya figgur cigarettes hurt or kill more than the smoker ‘n maybe some of the unfortunate folks who inhale the fumes?” Friday: “What about alcohol?” [Dragnet thematic music plays.]

Just mute the cigarette adds . They are interesting but after hearing them 100 plus times it’s a bit much .. ya .... cigarettes kill but ... we all shake the dice one way or the other 🤔
