Its clear these are notes jotted down by people who don't understand the concept of non binary/gender stuff but were forced to include it. This kind of thing should be cleaned up before release but some dev left it in. I jot down random notes in Campfire like this were I explain loose concepts so I can write it later. But I have no intention of leaving the notes in the final product... they are personal notes to myself so I remember what I an doing during the writing process. I just realized that almost every single faction side mission in the game is about searching for a missing person, finding out that they are dead/corrupted and killing them and then... the strength of their faction increases because of that. These are notes they put into the game to explain the concept of how the character is and how they need to be written, but they forgot to remove them from the final game. The writers themselves/devs are literally saying in these notes they don't understand the concept of trans and non-binary and left these notes behind so they know how they need to write Taash's character. They even say "gender crap" in context. I feel for these writers. As someone who was socially ostracized for 7 years growing up and never had many friends until well into adulthood, I still struggle with normal word use and social cues. The only thing I'd disagree is the "it's weird/poorly written" I can definitely see that as a person writing personal notes rather than the exposition dump notes we tend to see that are always well-written with no spelling mistakes and very conveniently descriptive. A poorly written note is like the one you find in fallout 76's airport where two people are sharing the same note to communicate through a wall gap, and near the end of the note, one of them says "I'm going out" and the reply is "wait! NOOOOOO!" which is so stupid to imagine 2 people writing that and one dude just spending time writing all those o's Anyway, just saying the way it's written makes sense for a character, but the contents of the note is something completely different.
