Also yamcha himself is equal to Old King Piccolo power level.

Yes in Dragon Ball krillin and yamcha power level show under 200 within the guide books but don't forget they can increase their power just like Goku and Piccolo into focus attacks. Even though they didn't go into details on how high krillin yamcha and Tien can actually push their power level at least not in the way they show the two main antagonist of this particular Arc.

i do not consider that humiliating at all, Yamcha trained to the point he was stronger tham Raditz and i doubt Raditz would have survived that self destruct. Krillin at that moment had a power level of 1770 at full power, while yamcha was around 1600 if i'm not mistaken, Piccolo was 3400 at full power.

Toriyama gave Yamcha "L"'s to demonstrate how dangerous the new opponent is. It's supposed to be an "oh shit!" moment whenever that happens to Yamcha, not a moment that's supposed to make you think he's "bad". If this were anyone else, aside from possibly Goku, the exact same stuff would be happening to them. I'm not really sure what bad moments there are for Yamcha later on though aside from getting taken out early by Gero which, again, could have happened to anyone.

Tien was the main antagonist of a saga, Yamcha at his most important was a secondary villain to Pilaf.

@@draculemihawk8844 yamcha was the ironic main hero of the pilaf saga and was the only character to get significant development in multiple ways, he got the girl at the end, defeated the main villain with puar and was a trendsetter for both later rivals and goku himself while also contrasting to goku by being a more generic hero to goku's untraditional goofy monkey boy hero. tien may have been the main villain but he barely got any focus in the manga his development was more rushed than yamcha who at least had a logical context to his fast character development tien doesn't since we don't know enough about him. the anime did undoubtedly do him better but regardless it doesn't change the fact he didn't do much that influenced the main story really he did nothing yet yamcha gets called the sakura of the series. and on top of that tien's strength is also overestimated by people there is no way the gap between krillin and tien is smaller than the gap between yamcha and tien. krillin got a 41 x boost to his power level after having his potential unlocked call it bullshit or whatever none of us like powerlevels too much, there is no conceivable way a few months on king kai's planet which yamcha also trained on was enough to get them anywhere close to krillin.
