the old animation was better but beerus'es 2nd fight with goku was also decently animated ( but even thought GT was despised among the community, some of the Dragon ball franchises top animation was in that series)

DBS Broly One Piece Film Gold Luffy vs Katakuri Luffy vs Kaido And i hear Toriko has a fair amount of sakugas Toei can make polish art for a company that doesn't do seasonal series

Toei is a powerhouse studio that tackles a good portion of long running weekly shounens plus side projects. Huge workload on top of obscene and unacceptable production management in scheduling is what creates this infamous studio that many criticize and doubt without any decent knowledge on production. There a lot of legendary iconic animators and artists in that studio, some moved to other legendary studios, some became great freelancers, and other remained. If Toei were to ever change their ways on production and workload for the better or even work more with seasonal projects rather than weekly, which it might never happen, production quality will certainly increase. They are plenty of amazing works out there that prove Toei still can carry deadly workload and schedules while producing amazing composition out of their shows. It’s not a question that Toei is of the few studios with amazing potential within animation industry. Recent films and series are increasing in quality, even that current Digimon project has amazing production. The upcoming series, Dragon Quest, has some of the best pre production Toei has seen in ages. Although studio workload might interfere, the production schedule should be more consistent than ever before.
