Our Gohan had the luxury of being able to have a somewhat peaceful teen life after majin of course. However this one has been fighting since the wild of age of 4 cause of Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta, Frieza forces and Frieza then we go into the androids all the way up to he is 23 and the loss is just too much... I don't blame him at all for feeling tired of 20 years of senseless fighting.

Technically, he'd be from another timeline. The only one from the original timeline we've seen would be Cell: Timeline 1: Similar to Future Trunks's timeline we know except Cell kills Trunks and use the time machine Timeline 2: Similar to main story except no time machine Cell (only the one created by the local Gero computer) Timeline 3: The one with the Future Trunks we know (and by extension, the Gohan he knows) Timeline 4: Main story

He is not the original Gohan, he’s Future Gohan from the same timeline as Future Trunks, Vegeta’s son in the cell saga. The original Timeline is the timeline that Cell comes from.

Future Gohan's death was the saddest in Dragon Ball Z history because he was the only shining hope. Trunks was there, but he wasn't quite ready yet he's not the strongest Gohan, but he captured the hearts of many. He holds a special place in my heart. Future Gohan is number one in my book. I know he's not the strongest. He's the weakest version, but I don't care. Future Gohan is the best true Saiyan warrior.

Gohan's the only Saiyan in the story that doesn't enjoy the fighting. Future Trunks doesn't either I suppose, but Trunks as a kid took to it a lot more than Gohan as a kid ever did. It's funny of all of the characters in the story he's the one with the most latent untapped power, and he's a total pacifist at heart.

Ive been enjoying Sparking! Zero a lot. In Xenoverse 2 there's a mission post-base game where you have to correct a timeline altered by Trunks in which Gohan defeats 17 and 18. You have to then either choose to correct it by killing Gohan yourself, or tell Supreme Kai of Time no, and that Gohan lives to save his future timeline. I always let him live. Future Gohan needs a W.

I like how it went from daylight in the city when he’s fighting family/friends. A reminder of good, peaceful times. The scene then moves outside the city when dealing with cell and 19. Still daylight, all hasn’t gotten dark yet. The remaining fights returns to the city but now it’s in ruins. It’s dark. Hope is nearly snuffed out, but Gohan is there to fight, challenging anyone who dares destroys what little light/hope there remains in restoring peace to the world.

This voice actor is AMAZING! He plays completely different voices for each Gohan in the game. Adult Gohan: Basic, standard Gohan's voice. Mystic Gohan: Confident, self aware, knows his shit. Great Saiyaman: Feel like he is trying to make a serious and respectable voice, just like a Tokusatsu hero. Gohan Black: Dead serious, calm and also a little threatening. Future Gohan: Experienced and tired. And is not about the lines! His interpretation changes drastically. I dont know his name, but this voice actor is the best.

There is a fan made manga called New Hope on which Bulma travels to Namek to ask Porunga to bring back Trunks who never came back from the future apparently this history takes place in the timeline on which Cell killed him to steal the time machine, so once on Namek the dragon says it can't bring trunks back because he is death in another timeline and Bulma uncapable to bring Goku back because he died of natural causes and Vegeta due to his evil actions in past probably didn't keep his buddy to train and would most likely come back just like when he died not being strong enough, she ends up choosing to bring back this Gohan who spent all those years training. With his missing arm restored and filled with rage he goes on a hunt for the androids and then Cell. I highly advise on looking up that project as its still going with monthly issues. In my opinion it redeemed this version of Gohan and so the rest of the Z warriors being Vegita the weakest of them all, there is a very amazing interaction with him an Ten Shin Han. The latest projects Mr. Toriyama left were lame and repetitive with the exception of that movie and which they ended up making Broly a good guy, they all lack the essence this franchise once had.
