Every time someone complains about a specific thing in sparking zero, its usually ends up being implemented or fixed. "GT will be DLC", "The Colors are off", "The characters aren't expressive" all of these things were added.

@@gianlucagiusti6174 I don't think its fixable. They should have made the camera like Tenkaichi. If the opponent is high in the sky you just could not see him because the camera angle didn't go as far up. In Sparking Zero it does go that high and thats what make the camera go through the ground.

From a fighting game stance, Sparking Zero must be compared to recent games, such as FighterZ and Xenoverse 2. So far, Sparking Zero has the edge over these games due to its superior aesthetics and attention to detail. From a cinematic experience stance, the game to beat is Kakarot. Sparking Zero has yet to prove its the top cinematic experience game because it fails to fully provide complete cutscenes. Its slideshows are frequent and disruptive to tell the story in a manner that reimaginines it for old fans and in a way that new fans can appreciate to its full potential. Kakarot does a better job of fleshing out its stories cutcenses. Sparking Zero has potential to get an edge over Kakarot, but not completely overtake it. For that, they will have to trully flesh out every scene, and include compatible music to provide an emotional response, which Kakarot was slightly (or rather, severely) lacking. Sparking Zero is in the right direction: they selected music to match either the drama of the scene of accentuate it. What a good creative choice by the producers. The only thing left to do to claim the top spot of all dragon ball z games in history is to fully develop and flesh out it scenes. Until that happens, Kakarot still has the slight edge. But I'm rooting for Sparking Zero to fulfill its potential in providing the best story mode cinematic experience of the Dragon Ball Z gaming franchise. That is objective lense. Rather than buying into the hype prematurely. Bonus: Goku 3x Kaioken Kamemhameha vs Vegeta’s galick gun missing is also unacceptable for a game franchise of this caliber.

The cutscenes look rough, which is somewhat expected since that's not really the focus of the game. Like... Vegeta's Galick Gun at 12:09 is almost laughable. The movement is slow and stiff, lacking any 'oomph' to it. But I'm not too worried about any of that. Especially since the Tenkaichi games never really had amazing cutscenes to begin with. I think all the gameplay, particle effects, and special attack animations all look great. And to me, that's the important part. I'm excited lol

The more I see of story mode and think on some of the ommissions the devs made in terms of certain characters, forms and stages the more I feel a bit disappointed with this game. Im still very excited and will play day 1 but it really feels like the game is incomplete and thats a shame.

For example, the first fight against Vegeta has wrong map, wrong Vegeta costume, and wrong aura for Trunks. And for a game that prides itself on being true to the source material, that’s pretty inaccurate. Lastly, there’s no DBS Future Trunks arc in DBZ Kakarot.

trunks of db super is wrong in the aesthetics of the transformation, he has neither the normal ssj nor the ssj 2 nor the ssj rage, they combined all three in a single aesthetic without getting the hair aesthetic of the ssj rage right, the rage should have hair different and electric too. the hair is that of the normal ssj version of super. the rage has longer and straighter jackets without tufts in front of the forehead. look how I am ssj rage of trunks.

You should be happy that you can skip them faster now and just jump right to the action. This is a Budokai game , not Ninja Storm. Its absolutely valid to be disappointed with how episode battle turned out especially with the hype level this game has had. I was personally hoping for something more cinematic and im a little bummed that this is what we're getting but I dont care enough to let it get to me.
