But looking better now, it seems like Goku counts as 5 Characters at least (Goku from Saiyan Saga, Frieza saga, Cell saga, Buu saga and Super@@jotarokujo3603 ) which makes sense if they consider power levels, i.e., Standard Goku in Buu Saga is more powerful then let's say Super Saiyan Goku of Frieza Saga, but for example Broly counts as one even considering his transformation. So probably closer to 100 unique Characters which still is amazing

Looks like literally every other DB fighting game. HD surroundings with cartoon 3d characters and effects and a 360 battle area on ground or the sky. Literally feels like just another game. The different between this and say Call of Duty is that CoD does something different most times*, but this is basically redoing the story like every other one before it, like every Batman story needs his parents killed displayed to us.

Sadly that's unlikely. There were 164 character slots shown at the end here. (Including transformations) Budokai Tenkaichi 3 had 161 including transformations. There's no way they can fit GT characters and Super characters with only 3 more slots. So it's most likely those characters are replaced by Super ones. But they could always release a DLC at some point (which was inevitable anyways)

The Blue Kaioken looks more like an attack then an actual transformation, it might be an attack where Goku simply taps into Kaioken while in Blue and powers down back to blue once the attack has been performed.

What alot of you fail to realize is that the roster is 164 BASE. Xenoverse 2 is STILL getting DLC to this day. If this game receives ten years of content, the final roster could very well be nearly 300 characters or more. So, yes. This game has the largest roster to date. The only fighter CURRENTLY superseding this games BASE roster is "Tobal 2" on the original PlayStation, "Gundam Vs." notwithstanding. But again, this roster is BASE.

Seeing as Budokai Tenkaichi 3 had 161 characters (including transformations) and was still a lot. This one has 164 characters (including transformations). So even though it looks like a lot is just transformations. It's the same way in Tenkaichi 3. It just looks worse now since they're separated into different slots entirely and not behind variations of one slot

What bugs me is that it sounds like the voices were pulled from earlier games. Goku says "Kayoken" instead of "Kaioken", which is what he did on the Budokai games, and some of the yells sound like they came from XenoVerse 2..
