I still think one of the best moments in Episode 60 is when Vegeta jumps at cell for killing trunks, forcing Gohan to save him. the exchange is priceless, because even in the original series, vegeta never apologized for anything. I'll never get over the fact that TFS managed to always make me feel genuinely sorry for the villains. They gave *_ALL OF THEM,_* an actual personality. Nappa was of course where this all began, with the Ginyu Force being near the pinnacle of the example. Jeice & Burter's character duo was incredibly well written, and you feel actual friendship between the two... *_And then Burter DIES. IMMEDIATELY afterwards._* Jeice just kinda gets bullied by Vegeta, & you feel almost bad for the poor wanker... *_But then we get to the Androids._* Oh man, at this point, DBZA was just always good. No matter what. No joke ever fell flat, only flew over some heads. But Android 19 & 16 are the prime examples of TFS' talent. Watching an actual robot, with no idea what emotions really were, slowly become infected with *_legitimate fear for it's life_* was almost tear-jerking. I had stopped laughing at "NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO" & that final _"N o."_ Left me speechless. And then of course I was laughing 20 seconds later at the WinRar joke. *_And you already know why 16 is easily the best Android in the saga._*

TFS really hit their stride when it comes to writing perfection in balancing comedy and telling the DBZ story towards the end of the Freeza Saga and it really shows in the Cell Saga. I don't like it. I think it's overrated. In my opinion, the jokes aren't funny and are immature. I don't like some of the voices either. Just my opinion.

It was good but now they're trying way too hard, it feels like another English dub. Flash back to S1 with the sh*tty microphone and making funny jokes every two seconds and you can immediately tell this was a parody. Gohan ssj 2 transformation, yeah it was powerful but wasn't funny at all in the slightest.

Dont say nothing409 I see this complaint against DBZA a lot. How is taking yourself more seriously a bad thing? Season 3 was still packed full of jokes. It was still a parody at heart. They just decided to start taking it more serious. Doing justice to the show they loved so much.

@@dominickfinch5693 its not a bad thing. The problem is that tfs was unique in that they covered the story while being very funny and even throwing shade at the show's plot holes. You couldn't get that kind of material from the orginal or kai but now it's just like "meh" Gohan in high and fat buu brings so much material to work with but i just hope they stay away from their gohan vs cell writing or at least find the right balance.
