While grinding may be helpful, some things that will really help are: -Do as much training as possible with different masters to get equips that boost your stats -Try and choose a master that gives a big boost to your health, along with equips that boost your health -Try out different fighting styles from different masters -Use Super Saiyan while in non-story fights, with either RT or LT (I forget which)

22:13 - Questions like this always remind me of how Harry Houdini died. He had an act where he would take a direct punch to his abdomen by a random huge guy from the audience, and because he braced himself and knew how to take it, the hit wouldn't phase him. Then one day, some guy who wanted to see the Great Houdini in action decided to sucker punch him 4 times (the full story is only a little more complicated than this). 1 ignored ruptured appendix and 9 days later, he was dead. So... yeah. Goku and friends are most likely bracing themselves in their fights.

If I recall correctly, you have Ginyu as the captain, obviously, Jeice as the second in command, Recoome and Burter equal just below that, and Guldo at the position of footrest who was probably mainly chosen so Ginyu could line everyone up from tall to small for his group poses ^^.

So I don't know if you guys even check comments, but back when I had a 360 and played this, I noticed that when you master someone and you get their fighting style, it also boost your attacks. Like right now I can see you guys have Tiens style so if you applied someone's style who was stronger then you'd see a bit of a boost. At least when I played it. I could be wrong but just a thought. And also you guys do know you can change your moves for super saiyan right? That should help a ton if any. If you read this, thank you for taking time to and keep at it guys!

The more I play this game and the more I watch them play this game, the more I realize how strategic this game kind of is. It might seem like it's just stupid rock, paper, and I suppose it is on some level. But these guys are a prime example of how if you don't learn or understand the game mechanics it just seems dumb. Not saying it's a great game by any means, but it's definitely not as basic as it appears.

This game is less of a fighting game and more of an extremely basic one-on-one RPG. It could have been so much better though. They really didn't try all that hard. Most of the assets are taken from Raging Blast 2 anyway.

You use ki to escape. The reason super meter blinked red at 14:08 is because Grant panicked and probably just wiggled right stick, but since you only had enough meter for spirit ball, it blinked red when he tried to use kamehameha, then used spirit ball the second after.

Just to help you guys out for getting those teleport behind combos,if you hold Y and a direction you will either turn them around or if you just hold the button itself you will stun them to start a combo sooner

Hey guys, in order to dash out of melee range, it actually requires at least a quarter bar of Ki. Not super meter, I think Grant was just mashing buttons which is why it flashed red. He didn't have the meter to perform anything at the time. Also when you get stagger on a counter (typically when behind) dash in and light attack. It'll trap them in a combo

A few tips for this horrid game. --1. When the recovery shows 4 buttons it wants you to spam all 4 of them, if you use two hands and spam every button you can counter on the second hit. --2. Be sure to charge your energy and keep it full at all times, it will guarantee you can counter and not take any damage from enemy supers. --3. Use limit(full energy charge + up on d-pad) when the enemy is around 20k hp to get a heavy combo that can't fail and will lead into a ultimate.

You need to have your ki bar charged if you want to recover from a combo that the enemy has you in and im not entirely positive but you might have to hit all four buttons at once to recover or just one at a time idk

Bullets were less effective in early Dragon Ball because the characters and series was more gag-oriented. And based on the Arale episode of Super, being a gag character, in-universe, does increase your power and durability.

Between reading the comments and watching how they play, it actually seems like there's almost a not-broken game here. Issues with QTE timing notwithstanding. Fill defensive meter to recover mid-combo and to return super moves back to sender. And when the time is right, hit them with some unstoppable combos. Learn their pattern, it seems like different characters have their own preferences between quick and strong attacks, while others will learn what you're doing. Omega being someone who clearly learned what TFS was doing. Whereas Burter preferred quick attacks. And Nappa will prefer strong attacks. If there's truly a way to kick'em around to launch a combo without have to rock-paper then voila. Full gameplay loop.

I also had the dea that Freeza, being as crazy prepared as he was used his own ki to power the blasters or something since it's never stated what those blasters as a power source for the soldiers who can't use ki blasts with their bare hands.

The easiest way to win is to try and hit them with a heavy combo, then when you're in the air fly over them to where there ki blasts can't hit you, charge your spirit gauge up to transform into a super saiyan, then charge your spirit gauge up all the way, enter that mode where they can't stop your attacks and then just furiously hit them while alternating between supers and heavy combos to charge the supers back up

I always thought it would be interesting if you met the main character from Ultimate Tenkaichi in the Xenoverse series after being recruited by the Time Patrol. Either that or he (or she, they can do whatever they want) is recruited by Towa since their timeline was not saved by the Time Patrol and they desire the ability to do so from Towa. It would be a nice foil to your character, someone who does evil deeds to save their timeline. Also, this is a suggestion but you guys should focus your effort on training with the various Masters since you can acquire capsules which can augment your stats and new techniques; it can also lead into learning the other character's fighting styles which get better as you progress. There is also the World Tournament which can greatly boost your stats if you manage to win it. Lastly, don't forget you have access to Super Saiyan which increase your overall damage output in terms of melee and beam supers. You can even change the color of your aura and moves you have access to in Super Saiyan to be different from your base form. I hope this helps you guys out on finding it easier in this game. Cheers.
