This the insane guitar picking, shredding of Tina S, (Perfect execution, amazing speed, brilliant legato, great sound, killer picking, huge vibrato, precise string bending, lightning whammy bar, total guitar mastery, clever arrangement, calm and focused, casually chewing gum), combined with years of playing classical guitar which made Tina, her real name Tina Setkic, this 15 years old girl prodigy from France, a worldwide guitar legend on KZbin.

Herman Li was shocked when he discovered this cover last year. He said « damn ! I think she is shy about performing in public . It is my belief that people don't understand why she dropped out of the public eye . I think I know why . The reason is , Tina is or was one of these rare people that is not motivated by fame . I believe she dedicated herself to excel as a musician for the pure love of doing it . If people had payed attention , there were times when she would make statements about wanting to improve and learning , when asked about public performances and possibly getting in a band . She has no interest in that . People can't seem to figure that out or understand it . Once she reached perfection she was no longer interested in playing . Watch her in some of her later videos . Her playing was incredible , but she would just be looking around like she was bored , with her fingers flying up and down the neck . She could do it blindfolded . She needed a new challenge . That is the way she is wired . Once she mastered the guitar , there was nothing left for her to look forward to . She gave it up .

To me, this is one of the most charming and honest reviews there is about Tina S. here on youtube. This girl is simply an extremely gifted musician who makes a number of well-known guitarists look very old. She was just fifteen years old at the time - how would she develop if she was seven, eight years older? Unfortunately, this question remains unanswered, because she has left to study. Like millions of other fans, I hope that she will continue to cultivate her musical talent and put videos on the net again. This girl should play in a big band, write her own songs.

She's French, she did very little videos and demos. She got real famous real fast (the guitar brand she plays on, vigier, French too, also sponsored her really fast) and it was too much for her. She stopped suddenly and focused on her studies, walking away from playing guitar (maybe forever). She also said that she loved it but that the practice was a LOT of hours and I think she was kind of "done" with it and not interested in making that her job or anything? (maybe she was also pushed too much? Idk). We watched that first hand in France and a lot of people were really sad about her stopping so early, when she could've done so much. We know very little/almost nothing about her life now. I learned all that because I found her videos again, got nostalgic and searched to know what she'd become ^^". Last thing, but not the least: aside from getting famous and having too much pressure too fast, she got harassed and had many awful comments saying she's not playing, it's fake for X reason etc. As a young girl almost 15 years ago, playing guitar in a metal field was... even harder than now (and it's still shitty and sexist :/).
