Worst case, because a low stat CAN delay them. Warrior, Cutting Edge, 50 Martial Artist, Critical Claim, 49 Monster Wrangler, C-C-Cold Breath, 46 Gadabout, Channel Anger, 46 Merchant, Call to Arms, 38 Thief, Backdraft, 35 And as for spells, Sage finishes at 40.

Im gunna be honnest, not following the logic I was making a funny haha joke at the going full in on learning all monster tamer skills and only getting the busted 50 monster skill which is a possible level 1 skill after a single fight with no level ups

Going to transcend a tower! 2:19 - 3:32 - Class change is very rewarding in the remakes, especially this one. While stat caps for experience levels are still a thing, they seem to have more wiggle room than in the original version(Although... That could just be me seeing things that aren't really there). 15:52 - 16:11 - That was my guess with the Shades as well. 27:29 - 27:37 - Eeyup. I learned the hard way not to use the analog with them. On a side note, I wasn't aware of a couple of items in this place. Need to go back for them after I deliver a can of butt-kick to you-know-who.

In this version I didn't enter the Kidnappers cave or at least fight its BOSS WITHOUT learning the skills/spells of EVERY SINGLE job besides LEVELING up the Warrior and Martial Artist class x 3 times to lv 48 since AFTER lv 45 the Meal Slimes here SUCK for exp leveling.

So happy Ogre quick convinced/ surprised Naka with sage Zara, she's gunna be the mvp pretty much from this point on so long as she's allowed to learn most if not all her spells. though given how the comments were full of the spoiler after ogre said it early on, I'm also surprised Naka didn't know

This optional dungeon is a good training zone for how to deal with a variety of enemies. If you don't want to go through training a Gadabout, you'll want the special item to turn into a sage directly from any other vocation. You'll want to use it as the last vocation of your person you're using it on after taking them through all the physical vocations, but again you'll miss out on the Gadabout special skills. As for legends of why a fool would become a sage? Well there are tales of kingdoms where the king has the jester act as their eyes and ears within the populace. The guy that acts the most dimwitted and questions the king or has a joke at other peoples expense is a little more trusted as a citizen, but in reality is feeding the king information as a hidden extra advisor that watches the people of the kingdom. There's also something to be said about the fool gaining wisdom from all their mistakes and going on a journey to becoming incredibly wise from wanting to better themselves.

In a guess with the Gadabout to Sage thing, maybe all the life experiences from the Gadabout life provided Sagely enlightenment?

And with this tower around here, I have to ask myself what the point of the Gadabout vocation is. It'd be one thing if you had to wait a while longer to obtain Words of Wisdom, but it's on a dungeon near Alltrades! To add insult to injury, this remake gives you the ability to remove the unlock condition in the postgame, so even if you want triple or quadruple the Sages you don't need the Gadabout anymore.

Isn't it "heros by fate" and "sages by god" ? I figure if anything is lucky enough to survive being a gadabout for long enough, they reach enlightenment.

It could also just straight-up be a Sun Wukong / Sun Goku / Monkey King reference. The way he became "the Great Sage Equal to Heaven" was by monkeying around, getting in trouble, and somehow ending up with three or four flavors of immortality. Despite LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE.
