The Universes' Best Tournament!!” And Bulma is Pregnant with Bulla and she has her baby bump while Videl didn’t had hers when she was pregnant with Pan, also in “Field The All-7th-Universe Team! I haven’t watch either but based off this clip I don’t see her freezing up like you guys are mentioning. She gets interrupted by her dad which she lashes out like appropriately then dende just randomly steps in and blurts out the news before Vidal can get back to it. The whole scene comes off as more emotional and realistic compared to the comedic tone of the series version. Personally I’d take the movie version over the series cuz the series version just felt silly and undermines the seriousness of announcing a pregnancy.

Yet the Future Trunks arc shows Trunks loves Mai and even during that Kid Trunks and Kid Mai has feelings for each other which basically come to a thinking that if a Dragon Ball series that completely focuses on Trunks and Mai was to happen we already know Trunks and Mai are the same age, they had feelings for each other when was kids, then they was shown to be in love with each other in the Future Trunks arc and not just friends, so in reality if it’s to happen we would see the Furture Trunks arc from Super again but re-written to be like Goku Black doesn’t exist or never happened, Trunks and Mai got Married, and now they have a baby on the way That does make sense because if we do ever get a Dragon Ball series that completely focuses on Trunks and Mai, the events of Dragon Ball Super’s Future Trunks arc wouldn’t exist cause it was delt with and Future Trunks fixed the time line to where his kid self and kid Mai doesn’t deal with Goku Black when they are that age of thier future selves

It’s also some variation of “pan” in most countries of East Asia (which surprises me. Well the second one she said “I wanted to surprise you with it, but now’s as a good time as anything” that just means the first announcement was a mistake but that also means the second announcement was a mistake too because her little green friend spoiled it before she could say it herself. I wish he got slapped by Viidel for saying that she was pregnant when she was trying to keep it a surprise. Some times people make mistakes that they want a redo announcement. So it’s like Videl mistakenly gave it away that she was pregnant by saying “I wonder if the Sayan inside my belly might work under the circumstances, at least a quarter sayan” and then Gohan replied “whoa Videl do you mean that are we really gonna have a baby like for real for real” then Videl shakes her head yeah, then in the next episode it’s like she made a mistake and wants a do over announcement and her dad thinks she was talking about him and the gang’s little green friend gives it away that she’s pregnant, and Gohan and the others take it more seriously then the first announcement as if no one remember that she revealed she was pregnant one episode back

@@Scorpion11x_ you need to watch Dragon ball Super episode 9 and 14 and compare the 2 scenes because the first time she announced was in episode 9 and then second time was in episode 14 which seemed like a retry from episode 9 but is also a more correct announcement because she said to Gohan "I wanted to surprise you with it, but now's as a good time as anything" in episode 14 she didn’t say in episode 9 because because her dad pushed Gohan out of the way. Also I found this, that sort of shows that i am correct that her announcement in episode 14 is a re-do of the announcement from episode 9 because of her dad pushing Gohan out of the way, not letting her finish what she wanted to say to Gohan after Chichi was done talking. In the former, Videl is revealing to everyone that she's pregnant during the confrontation with Beerus (episode 9). In the second, Gohan is, after the battle is over, just more formally announcing to his dad that he's going to have a child (episode 14).
