Ssj4 and even the non canon ssj5 forms because ssj5 looks like a true godly form for the saiyans. And ssj4 is like an ozaru form mixed with the ssj forms. I think this is perfect for Brolys next evolution where he can somehow mix the power of the Ozaru in his Ikari state and his berserker ssj form and morph them together making a new evolution for Broly called Primal Instinct (the new canon ssj4 with a sort of new design and a new color provably giving it a greenish hue because that's the color Broly's hair is in his Berseker ssj form. I dont think Broly's body will respond to god ki like the other saiyans and will have to take a different route to achieve a new form and a new level of power to catch up to chracters like Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo

I would call it a false beast form, because you would think Trunks and Gohan would've able to get the same form since theyre both saiyan hybrids. The only thing i can think is the only reason Gohan got a beast form is because somehow he has more pote than Trunks does and Trunks ssj rage form is like almost like a false beast form where he doesnt full transform like Gohan does

Well, vegeta didn't have the ritual. He just trained in beerus's world, which is full of God ki. Future trunks ss rage is basically basic ss with some God ki because he technically is a kai apprentice and he also sparred with vegeta blue.

7:37 I disagree, goku's statement doesn't mean it exclusively applies to blue. Think about it like this, goku didn't need a ritual to obtain blue he just trained to obtain it with vegeta while under whis so why would goku go out of his way to hype vegeta up for obtaining blue on his own when goku did the same thing? To me goku was clearly hyping vegeta up for obtaining god ki/ super saiyan god on his own then later blue on top of the fact literally nothing implies or states vegeta did the ritual. Yes Trunks is becoming a super saiyan god through the ritual in that heros panel but that doesn't mean he couldn't obtain it through training also if you look at the context of the image they're all clearly injured and in the middle of a fight which gives trunks no time to train to learn how to use God ki, they're doing the ritual not because it's the only way for trunks to become a super saiyan god but because they don't have much time. In the offical coloring of the super manga Trunks doesn't have any special aura so he's simply using normal super saiyan 2 unlike the anime also trunks stated he kept training after he defeated Dabura and Babadi which is why his ssj2 form was getting closer to goku's ssj3 form in terms of power, it isn't that the kai training did something special to trunks he just has a more evolved ssj2 since he was perfecting it for an unknown period of time. Also since you're using non canon material as evidence I'll bring up that in multiple games and other media super saiyan rage is treated as an altered version of super saiyn 2 with nothing about kais mentioned. #EndofVideoSquad

Writers will always write new new ways of doing things, like in Marvel, maybe you have to sacrifice someone to get the soul stone, but there is another way, (I don't know the other way), and they just made a new Infinity Stone in Marvel called the "Death Stone." So no matter how finite something seems to be written, it can always be changed if the writers or creators want it to be.

You've actually got it wrong. You can get super Saiyan God mode two ways... The first is the ritual the second is by concentrating enough to contain your ki within your body while utilizing your ki. But then of course there is a third where you take the second method and you sit in a cloud of God energy and try to survive. I believe trunks in a way did the third method when he was going through Kai training. By simply training with the kais he probably absorbed some god energy and didn't realize it. So that blue aura outside of his yellow aura is his god energy being emitted, a lot like jiren's where jiren had about five levels of aura but where those came from... no idea

I agree with what you were saying about trunks but I am not sure about what you were saying about vegeta achieving god on his own because if you played legends in the game giblets attains god form on his own as well around the same time shallot does and he would not have any saiyans to help him perform the ritual as he was under control and was obsessed with killing saiyans so he must have achieved it on his own the way vegeta did

I don't think it can be considered a new separate transformation since it was never adressed as such in both anime and games. It always has been referred as Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan 2 with Rage being between the brackets [ex: Super Saiyan Trunks (Rage) / Super Saiyan 2 (Rage)]. Even Sparking Zero treats it as Future Trunks' regular Super Saiyan form (while adding blue aura). Maybe the fandom always was wrong to consider it a new random asspull trasnformation while instead we should've always considered it a new random asspull power-up of an already existing transformation (either SS1 or SS2) though it still is an anime-only power-up which came out of nowhere. I think there's absolutely nothing to speculate about but that's just my opinion.

The name actually implies that the form is a rage boost not a false god transformation. In Japanese the form is called ikari just like broly's transformation. The only difference is that trunks can control his power. When it comes to Gohan his great ape and super saiyan forms are what he draws his power from in his potential unleashed form. That is why Gohan surpassed Goku's and Gotenks' ssj3 forms if you consider the statements made in buu saga according to their levels of power. Gohan's beast form is most likely related to berserker/ legendary ssj but there is not alot of information to go on.

ok i heard enough lol by 2:50 let me explain you have it completely backwards trunks transformation is the true super sayian blue form because Goku and Vegeta if you rewatch or know the lore like you say then you know their transformations have always been flawed as Whis has stated numerous times they have poor control of the god ki now this Trunks is like our Gohan he had both his potentials unlocks by the elder kai and the namekian elder they hinted at that back in the tournament of power how they didnt have enought time for Goku to be able to do the ritual or whatever so either Gohans new form Beast is the next step after what trunks had or trunks form is the superior form but 100% their transformations are god ki controlled compared to Goku and Vegeta since they arent leaking ki but they control it

Have you thought about that a saiyan can unlock God ki by being in close proximity to the energy itself by means of the saiyan ability to adapt during battle. So by training with goku vegeta could have learned this. The series also hints at this in the fight that vegeta has with kabba in the tournament of the 6th and seventh. When he one shots kabba he says remember this pain and let it unlock you inferring that he would absorb God ki by the blow

Rage form is a energy-emotion based form and you're right, he draws energy from his emotions and not just that, you said he did kai training so, the divine training is stamina and ki based trained once you've been able to complete that you would be able to drawn out max output of power for instance..... Gohan from Buu saga, Ultimate Gohan in potential unleashed after training didn't get to learn the specs of his full training bc he was ina rush. Rage and PU(potential unleash.) draw energy from any emotion grabbing them at the moment think about Beast how it's potential unleashed and super saiyan 2, and how trunks powered up against Goku ssj3, and how Beast Gohan did the same when fought mui Goku, it's bc that training is the kais way to draw out your maximum output of ki and stamina. Couldn't it be that their saiyan body adapted to the god ki? For Vegeta intentionally because he understands from Goku what it looks/feels like and Trunks unconsciously by being around it? So Trunks accidentally taps into it because his body tries to replicate the feeling it gets from the saiyan gods, the new limit he discovered. That's what I thought. Also Vegeta's pride is too high to ask for help to obtain ssg so I think he just tried to tap into god ki himself by adapting to it. Like with meditating now in the manga, Vegeta tries to improve and find his own way forward based on experience. I don't think it's in Vegeta's blood to take shortcuts, I could be wrong.

Well you should already know my top 2 which is kinda mixed feelings with whether the 2 should be number 1 in my book and that's ssj2, and ssg. Ssj2 because it has the most wins under its belt besides ssj, and it's just the successor to ssj, so yea, and for ssg, you have healing capabilities that you don't get with ssb, not only that but ssb in my opinion is just a god version of ssj that just takes L's all day, and doesn't have the healing factor that ssg comes with!

Why wouldn't vegeta go ssj god , god ki is a form of ki that can be achieved through a special kind of training Like with God's basically every god was a mortal at one point and learnt this ki from greater beings who had knowledge of it so Whis training is behind vegeta achieving ssj blue and god *ritual isn't always needed

I know what you mean and you are kind of correct but it's called ssj ikari. The form broly is in before the green hair is the uncontrolled version of trunks' form.
